3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 phaleslu (4431) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - APR 15, 2012
Poured from a growler. Pours a somewhat cloudy orange-amber color with a small off-white ring. Aroma has a lot of citrus and tropical fruits, floral notes, and caramel hops. Flavor mostly follows suit, with a balance of bitter citrus rind, tropical fruits, caramel malts, floral hops, and some pine resin. Light-bodied, with low carbonation and a resinous mouthfeel. Probably lost some carbonation while it waited in the growler. Still a very solid IPA.
4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20 vyvvy (3225) - Florissant, Missouri, USA - APR 6, 2012
Sampled at Four Hands Lupulin Carnival 2012 - Pours cloudy amber with an off-white head. The aroma has grapefruit and floral notes and has a smoothness to it with the hops and lightly toasted malt giving balance. Medium crisp resiny body with semi-sharp carbonation. The taste starts off very hop forward with grapefruit rind, pine, floral and a hint of malt for balance of some extent. Very hop forward here. The finish continues the hoppiness and at not point gets abrasive. Well made IPA.
3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 jandd1983 (1566) - Florissant, Missouri, USA - MAR 19, 2012
It poured a yellowish color with a small white head. The aroma was tons of citrus hops with some grapefruit in the background. The taste again, lots of citrus hops with a fruity backbone. This was a very good and easy drinking IPA.
4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 MissouriBrent (122) - Missouri, USA - MAR 14, 2012
Lots of fresh hop aroma. Some citrus notes in the aroma. Very clear golden color with nice white head. Nice hop flavor. While there is a ton of hop flavor, it is actually soft and not overly bitter. Nice sweet malt in the background, but this beer is all about hop flavor. Easy drinking and delicious.

Tap at brewpub. Pour is slightly cloudy deep yellow/ copper with a fluffy white head. Aroma and flavor are loaded with notes of citrus hops with notes of mango and grapefruit. Also hints of pine hop and a lightly sweet malt backbone. Solid IPA. easy to drink and solid.
3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20 Braudog (5025) - Hampton, Virginia, USA - MAR 1, 2012
Draft at the brewpub. Common copper color here, with a nice activity and head. Assertive hops here, more floral to the nose than tongue. This drinks with a tangy and acidic bite in the finish. Nicely done, artisan indeed. (#4499, 2/25/2012)
