3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Draft at Perennial, served in a tulip. Pours a semi-cloudy golden orange color with a finger of rocky cream-colored head. The aroma is fresh and clean, with grassy and floral hop notes, pils malts, and a dry wheaty, straw-like note throughout. The flavor follows the same lines. Light-bodied, with a crisp, clean, refreshing mouthfeel and medium carbonation. Nice summer sipper of an IPA. Right on the money.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Growler from brewpub. Pour is clear gold with a medium white head. Aroma is killer: loads of light citrus, pineapple, passion fruit, and peach hops. It’s not a huge hop kick, but it is so fresh and fragrant. Very light cereal malt underneath that. Flavor is true to nose and just delightful. Again, citrus and grapefruit hops with hints of pineapple and peach. Just so drinkable. Likely will only taste this good fresh, but my is this good right now. Awesome summer hops beer.
