vyvvy (3904) - Florissant, Missouri, USA - MAR 29, 2013
Sampled at UCBC Wolpertinger 2013 - A real winner at the fest here. Pours cloudy reddish orange with an off white-head. The aroma has pine, funk, green onion. and grapefruit. While the hops are up front there is a nice balance with the rich malt. It has a medium / full body with some graininess and mild carbonation. The flavor starts with grapefruit, earthy spice, pine and is balanced with semi-sweet toasty malt. The finis is a nice mix of hoppy resin and maltiness. Great IPA.

OLDMANDUSTY (70) - Kansas City, Missouri, USA - FEB 24, 2013
Poured from tap a deep amber with a medium khaki head that leaves behind wonderful lacing. Aroma of slightly sweet citrus, slight malt, and a hint of floral. Tastes of sweet candied rind and some biscuit.

beernbourbon (1288) - Iowa City, Iowa, USA - FEB 12, 2013
Tap at brewpub. Pour is clear amber/ red with a medium white head. Aroma and flavor bursting with citrus and pine hops notes. Has a nice, hearty caramel malt backbone to support the hops. The hops are sharp and clean. This is a very good beer. Hoppy, clean, and very drinkable. Great beer.
