Bottle... Clear amber pour with a fleeting, small, white head. The aroma offers a hearty medley of tropical blossom honeys Ė avocado, bottlebrush, longan, lychee Ė accompanied by toffee and a slight brothy note. Full-bodied and creamy with tickling carbonation. The flavor is a fusion of caramel and heavy, metallic bitterness that lingers way too long after an otherwise nice, bittersweet finish. Bottle courtesy of the one and only biggsbowler!

Good sweetness on the palate. Slight pine bitterness and maybe some booze. Sweet dried pear and apple. Light banana and plenty of caramel and brown sugar. Hints of citrus peel, too.

Bottle @ a recent bottle share... Poured deep dark, amber-ish orange with a medium forming off-white head. Sweet and hints of vanilla. Nice wheat wine with caramel, cocoa, and some bitterness. Dark fruits worked their way in for some complexity.

This one poured a darker orange color with an off white head. Aroma was of stale malt and hops and booze. Flavor was similar, just old and oxidized but not in a good way.

Bottle - Pours hazy amber with a thin light tan head. Nose is a little plastic, a little skunkiness, bready and sweet with a bit of hoppiness. Taste is real bready with light sweetness, yeastiness, honey, and a grassy yeasty finish. Medium-thin body and well-carbonated.

On tap at Barrels & Bottles. Aroma of wheat bread, toasted grains, alcohol, Belgian yeast, herbs, spices and light fruit. Similar flavor, pretty malty, adding toffee, caramel and chocolate. Medium to full body, soft carbonation, creamy and pretty smooth. Kind of complex, Iím not crazy about it, though.

Bottle at Fastelavn Smagning 2014 @ J&Cís beer palace, Jutland Saturday Session 1 - 01/03/14. Lightly hazed rich golden with a moderate off white covering. Nose is ripe fruit, sugars, caramel, boozey wafts, candied orange peel. Taste comprises bitter orange, candied fruits, light booze, caramac bar. Medium + bodied, dine carbonation, sweet closure. Ok barley wine, no great depth to it but ticks the boxes.
