3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Courtesy of Dak, thank you sir. It pours a copper color with tan head. The aroma is sort of peach flavored cotton candy mixing with floral hop notes, apples, pears and a malt sweetened wheat like sensation with a bit of booze at the end of the draw. The taste has a mix of light skinned sweet fruity esters like pears and apples mingling with spicy hops and then moving into stronger and stronger floral hop notes. Interesting brew where smooth sweet wheat takes this into the finish.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Draft at the brewery, served in a large snifter. Pours a hazy orange color with an initially small head that leaves nothing but a miniscule white ring. Aroma starts fruity (apricots, melons, apples) and becomes more sugary-sweet as it warms, with notes of caramel malts, toasted sugar, and a big cream-like note. Really unique. The flavor seems more traditional to my ’wheat wine’ expectations- caramel malts, wheat, dried fruits, tropical fruits, and sweet bread. Medium-bodied, with moderate carbonation and a juicy, wheaty mouthfeel. Very interesting take on the style. I’m definitely trying this again when the bottled version comes out soon, and I’m also guessing this would age well.

2.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
750mL bottle, sent from tstockstrom (thanks Chuck) and coryking (thanks Cory). Pours a hazy amber with a small white head. Aroma of wheat, candied sugar, some white chocolate, toasted nuts and boozy liqueur. Flavour is light on the tongue but very alcoholic, with lots of booze, some candied sugar, paint thinner and feint licorice. Extremely boozy and paint thinner-like, with high carbonation. Way off the mark here.

Bottle: The aroma consists of light caramel and peach. It pours a transparent amber with a small off-white head that quickly fades to a thin ring around the edges of the glass. The flavor starts with a quick dose of caramel and toffee. The finish has light-moderate fruit, oxidation, and citrus. It’s medium bodied with mild carbonation.
