3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle purchased from the taproom. Pours a hazy bright orange with a ridiculously huge, thick head. Nose of sweet oranges, some bitter rind notes, and just a tiny hint of earth and wood. Taste is sweet orange but still hoppy and with enough bitterness. Itís too sweet, but interesting and refreshing enough that I ainít mad at it. Great cause, too.

Bottle @ Richardís tasting. Another baseball bat beer...w@?! Clear golden orange pour with a white head. Grass, orange rind, and some herbal hops. A bit of wood, some sweet malt, and straw. The flavor is a bit sweet up front. Some malt and wood notes. Citrus rind, grass, and herb notes follow. Light bitterness and a somewhat dry finish.

3.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
This initially tasted of guilt as I was going to share (with Doug), but that harshness faded to my knowing I NEEDED to drink this one night and also that it had been sent by the incredible kindness of Seth. Very enjoyable and now wishing I had another as a big olí bomber seemed not enough - and that by the by is my way of saying I liked this very much indeed.
Thanks again, Seth.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
On tap at Cuginoís. Pours clearish golden copper with a large off-white head. The aroma has lots of citrus (grapefruit and orange mainly), hefty caramel malt and a nice bit of balance between the two assertive forces. The body is pretty full for a modest alcohol IPA and it has fairly soft carbonation. The flavor begins with lots of caramel malt and moderate sweetness. Then the earthy/citric hoppiness comes in. There is also a bit of pine in there. The finish as a smooth maltiness, light candy syrup and then a bit of resin stick to the top of the mouth for a while. Nice IPA.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
It poured a golden yellow color with a small white head. The aroma was lightly malted with some pine and hops. The taste was somewhat maltiness rather than hoppiness with pine and floral hops. A very good IPA.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
750mL bottle pours slightly hazy deep gold with loose light tan head. The aroma offers up citrus like tangelo notes that quickly get resiny with wood sap spiciness. The taste is similar with a nice citrusy orange to tangelo sensation and then leading into more and more bitterness with resiny wood spicy notes. The malts that sweeten up the citrus and the spicy wood are in good balance and make for a pleasingly bitter experience.
