COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
In the hop capital of Belgium, Hommel is the word for humulus, the plant genus where hops reside. Our Hommel Bier defies tradition by combining North American malts, Pacific Northwest hops, and a Belgian yeast strain. The result is a beer that combines earthy and spicy tones from the yeast with a slight orange note contributed by the hops. We think it’s buzzworthy.

Draft at perennial, pours golden with foamy white head. Aroma is real floral and spicy, good spicy character. Flavors balance spicy and sweet, big spicy yeast kicking with floral notes and sweet bread. Clean finish. Good stuff!

This brew has a crystal amber body with a layered cream bubble head--quite appealing a appearance. The aroma and body are fairly consistent, characterized by crystal candy and leafy hop noses, with good overall balance.
