3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
On tap at the Tasting Room in a willybecher glass. It poured a hazy dark brown color with off-white foam, creamy and long-lasting. True-to-style English Porter: bready, nutty, toasty, mildly fruity with restrained grain bitterness...except with hot and tangy habanero chills. Slow-build heat and lingering after-burn just like when you cook with them. I’ve had a few hot pepper beers, but this one was by far the tastiest with the best overall balance. I coulda drunk several more.

4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Small batch on tap at Perennial Tasting Room. Dark brown. Doesn’t smell like pepper, but definitely tastes like habanero. Its good though because the porter character cuts through as well.
