Cloudy brown beer, tidy pale tan head. Palate is light, dry and crispy. Vegetal squash notes to start. Minerals. Mild cinnamon and other spices. Tiny bit of orange in the crisp finish. Sweet creamy vegetal aftertaste. Interesting!

Draft. Hazy brown color, beige head with good retention and solid lacing. Aroma of lightly spiced brown bread. Taste has mixed spice, nicely balanced, good body. Very tasty.

(750ml bottle) Pours a burnt orange body with a medium off-white head. Aroma of allspice, squash, nutmeg, cinnamon, caramel, maple syrup, and toffee. Flavor of caramel, nutmeg, allspice, maple syrup, and squash . Good beer, but too much spices for me.

Cloudy copper color with a soapy off-white head. Intense spice aroma. Lots and lots of all spice and nutmeg to this one. Plenty of maple syrup with a walnut sort of aroma, too. The flavor is just as heavy on the spices and maple. There’s a really good squash flavor to this too. The spices really add a nice substance to the beer.

Capped 750 from Wine & Cheese in Clayton, MO. Pours very, very dark amber/brown with a creamy/bubbly beige head. The primary aroma is pumpkin pie spice. Squash seems to be buried in all that. Med body. The cinnamon is very strong. Don’t know if the squash roasting did much for flavor, but maybe. Might be the best seasonal so far.

On tap at Hops and Pie poured a clear reddish brown with a lasting tan head. Aromas of caramel, maple and light fruitiness. Palate was medium bodied and crisp with a dry finish. Flavors of caramel, toffee, cocoa and light maple with a crisp dry lingering caramel finish.

Bottle @ B.R.A.D. Fest, courtesy of jcnielsen. Pours a hazy orangish brown appearance with a light brown head. Spicy cinnamon, nutmeg, light vanilla, a touch veggie, toasty malty aroma. Quite spicy, zesty nutmeg, cinnamon, a bit chewy malty, light toffee flavor. Pretty tasty and would be nice for a pumpkin/autumn tasting.

Bottle. Pours slightly muddy brown/auburn with very big and fluffy off white head. A bit of a gusher though not infected. Nose and taste of slightly roasted squash, nutmeg, cinnamon, maple and caramel malt. Lighter medium body.

Sample at Bridge Tap House & Wine Bar. Cloudy amber-gold pour with a medium light beige head that diminishes slowly. Rings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of malt, spices and fruit. Medium-bodied with flavors of earthy malt, spices and tropical fruit. The finish is caramel malt and and nutmeg. Above average overall.
