Draft at Jerry’s. Clear red-amber with good, creamy, beige head / Sweet, clean nose of maple, toast, squash, and citrus / Medium body, creamy and lush, sweet but with good hop balance, and some bitterness in the finish / Flavors of maple syrup, sweet squash, grapefruit, toast, cinnamon, and nutmeg / Very creative, and quite good. Squash surprisingly discernable.

Cloudy orange brown with a nice white head. Nose is sort of odd and earthy and vegetal. Good flavor though--woody maple and subtle spice. This is dry, slightly fruity with solid bitterness in the finish. This is interesting more so than good but still decent.

Nice integration of squash here, I like this a lot more than pumpkin beers. Good balance, with good roast from brown. Pours murky brown with good head and lacing. Finishes with light sweetness. Tap at Dodge City.

I like all nearly all the flavors, but the bitterness is harsh and lingering. I want more malt, more sweetness (and I don’t like sweet beers), more squash, more body. I feel this fails as a brown ale and a fall spicy squash/pumpkin beer. I really wanted to like this.

750 ml. bottle. Pours golden brown with a nice beige head. Aroma of spice, caramel, and malt. Taste is spice, squash, caramel malt, and maple. Interesting in a good way.

Very dark amber pour, clear with very little head. Subtle squash nose. A hint of maple in there as well. Taste is nice - good hop character with some subtle undertones of squash and a hint of maple. This is growing on me - some bitterness in the finish that I don’t really care for, otherwise pretty good.

On tap taste at Gilly's Beer & Fine Wine in Rockville, MD.
Clear, dark rusty brown with a khaki head and excellent lacing.
Aroma of nutmeg, cloves, potpourri, maple, bread and squash (which I detest).
Taste of squash (ugh!), nutmeg, brown sugar, cloves, cinnamon, maple and more arhat is masked by the squash and spices.
Medium body and medium/low carbonization.
OK, to be fair, unlike most people, I find squash (but not most pumpkin) to be very strong tasting and revolting. But, even ignoring the squash flavor, this beer is over-spiced and not well balanced. I'll be kind in the rating to offset my obvious bias, but did not enjoy this beer. Glad I only got a taste.

On tap at Hops and Pie poured a clear reddish brown with a lasting tan head. Aromas of caramel, maple and light fruitiness. Palate was medium bodied and crisp with a dry finish. Flavors of caramel, toffee, cocoa and light maple with a crisp dry lingering caramel finish.

Reddish brown in color... Aroma of pumpkin spice, nutmeg, cinnamon... Caramel, nutty on the nose... Flavor is brown sugar, nuts, spices with vegetables and squash very prominent on the finish... Solid brown

Un gâteau au carotte a été embouteillé, je vois pas autre chose. Autant le mélange que le glaçage saute au visage, c’est assez impressionnant. Le liquide est très, voire trop sucré et manque de finition pour aller au delà du galopin.

Draft at MacDowell Brew Kitchen / Mud Hound Brewing Company. Poured a slightly hazy brown color with a medium-tan color head. Aroma was nice nutmeg, caramel notes. Flavor was slightly roasty, with a nice spice character. Good.
