Our Peach Berliner Weisse is a German-style tart wheat beer that’s perfect for the hot summer months. We violate traditional German beer production methods in every way by adding hundreds of pounds of Midwest-grown peaches to each batch. We hope you enjoy the irreverence as much as we do.

[Tap] Cloudy yellow pour with a quickly receding head on top. Nose of sweet peaches and dried grains. Soured flavors are centered on peach, lactic acid, wheat, floral notes and citrus. Tart and effervescent. Mouthfeel is about on par with what I expected.

On tap at Perennial, pours a hazy yellow with a thin head, the aroma smells like one of those sour peach ring candys, good amount of peach and a tad bit of funk too, the flavor has a peach and fruit front end with a slight tartness in the finish, easy drinking.

Bottle shared by Josh at my house. Snifter pours were light orange, hazy, with a decent fluffy head. Peach and barrel aroma with sweet tart overtones. The taste was peach, mango, sprite, and souring agents. Nice balance, carbonation, and texture. Very good.

Bottle to glass. Pours a clear pale golden yellow color with a thin off-white head which quickly disappears. Aroma is wheat, light tart, funky peaches. Flavor is very tart, with a touch of peach in the finish. Tart quickly fades. Overall a pretty decent beer.

Sample at the 2014 Infected Chimipalooza on 11/01/2014. Hazy yellow-gold color with a thin fizzy white head that evaporates steadily. Spotty lacing. Peaches and yeast in the nose. Light-bodied with flavors of sweet peaches, mildly funky yeast and spice. The finish is mildly tart with a spiced peach aftertaste. Decent overall.

Some peach, and sourness is fairly mild on this Berliner. Yeast, with a dose of citrus. Pours a hazy pale peach juice color. Low carbonation. Tart finish. Tap at Pizzeria Paradiso Georgetown.

Draught at the Churchkey, Washington, DC. Hazy yellow colour with a tiny white head. Oregano, lemongrass, malt... What? Where's the peaches? The flavour is mild sourness, oregano, mild tartness and some malt. Strange brew. Liquid pizza. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
