COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our Peach Berliner Weisse is a German-style tart wheat beer that’s perfect for the hot summer months. We violate traditional German beer production methods in every way by adding hundreds of pounds of Midwest-grown peaches to each batch. We hope you enjoy the irreverence as much as we do.

I’ve tried peaches in beer before and I think they are just too delicate to lend much flavor to another beer. This was a good berliner, not terribly tart, but solid enough. The peaches are only just barely present though, in a mild stone fruit whisper.

The aroma is peach, sour, vinegar. The appearance is a slightly hazy pale gold, small white head. Theflavor is acidic sour peach, lemon, other light fruit. The finish is sour lemon, and vague fruitness. Medium in body, actually a little thin. Not bad at all.

Tasted on tap at the Tasting Room. It poured a hazy golden color with weak white foam. Too much peach and not enough Berliner Weiss. Bland, weak, reminiscent of generic soda. None of the expected graininess, tartness, sourness, spritziness. Not what I had hoped for. Not a very good beer.

750ml and served in my Pipeworks Berliner glass: pours a clean deep golden hue with an initial fizzy head and spotty lace. The aroma has notes of peach flesh and pits, some lactic acid, pils and wheat malts and a subdued band-aid vapour. The taste is better than the nose with a twangy peach note and lovely pale malt and white wheat background. I still would have liked to seen this a touch more tart but better to be reserved than in your face. The mouth feel is refreshing and lively, some minerally notes on the aftertaste. I will admit I am not much a fan of peaches so it would be hard for this brew to gather a big score but still I was a tad underwhelmed by some of the strange pitty and minerally notes.

Big thanks to beerman6686 for a chance to taste this great beer. Looks fairly pale. Initially it has a tad of green olive and pimento flavor in there. Smell is a little plastic and artificial. Taste on the other hand is very good, Goes perfect with sharper chees (thanks lithy). This is a pretty good beer and I appreciate the tartness in there. These sour and tart beers are so much fun. In flavor, this beer rocks. THANKS DAN! Had this a the RB pgh winter 2012 post world ending prior to Christmas beer tasting.

This poured a murky very light straw color with a white head. Aroma was of light orange rind, citrus fruit, and grass. Flavor was lightly tart, very grainy, very mild peach that would be hard to detect if I had not known. Ok.

Nearly clear yellow. Tart peach flavor. Kind of like a peach cider. Minimal head. Light body.

Thanks xscottypx! Hazy golden pour with a frothy white head. Fresh peaches, light graininess, peppery spice and notes of yeast funk on the aroma. Peaches and apricot on the front with a hint of apples, light grain sweetness with tart funky yeast coming through on the end. Medium light bodied with some moderate carbonation. Not bad.

Bottle at home, courtesy of Armin. Thanks man!! Pour is clear golden with a small white head and great lacing. Peaches, pear, light lactic, vanilla, and green apples in the aroma. Taste is light, slightly watery, fruity, pears, vanilla, and sour bread with a smooth finish. Light body with soft carbonation. Not bad.

UPDATED: JAN 13, 2013 Bottle @ Stephen’s house, courtesy of TheAlum. Thanks Adam! (P.S. Justin, why the fuck did you miss getting me this one?) Pours a hazy, light yellow appearance with a white head. Juicy, fuzzy, peach jolly rancher, light lactic, vanilla, carbonated aroma. Very refreshing, a touch watery, very nice peachy, vanilla, bubbly carbonated flavor. Too fucking easy to drink. It could be fun to beer bong this shit. Update: tried another bottle and some butter came through. Still a tasty beer but that was a bit off putting.
