COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our Peach Berliner Weisse is a German-style tart wheat beer that’s perfect for the hot summer months. We violate traditional German beer production methods in every way by adding hundreds of pounds of Midwest-grown peaches to each batch. We hope you enjoy the irreverence as much as we do.

On tap at Bainbridge, So much better on draft compared to bottles. Pours murky yellow color with small but lasting head. Notes of barn, lemonade funk, peach skin, sour yeast, and german malt. Medium bodied. Awesome berline from Perennial.

750 from Whole Foods. Pours hazy bright golden with off-white head. Nose is tart fruit, peach, white wine grapes. Tastes tart, with a subtle peach flavor, malt, a good balance, and a champagny finish with more tartness, but flowery and not over-tart. This one is delicious.

Drake (8029) - Free Union, Virginia, USA - OCT 18, 2013
Draft at Capital Ale House Harrisonburg. Pours a mild hazy golden color with a thin fizzy white head. Decent head retention. Aroma of peaches, citrus, butter, earthy and vegetal notes. The taste is peach, peach pits, buttery malts, vomit. Medium bodied, lingering tartness. This is just awful, and I’m really hoping this is a bad keg.

Draft at Jerry’s. Pale gold with light, creamy, white head, decent lacing / Crisp nose of yeast, lemon, straw / Light body, watery, tart, creamy, with good balance / Flavors of lemon, peach, straw, wheat, dough / The interest is there, but weak body detracts.

Pale straw colour with a thin white head. The nose has a nice bright lacto nose with a bit of wheaty character and a bit of tartness. Peach is quite subtle but has a bit of fruitiness.

Bottle, big thanks to Deeblo. It pours hazy golden yellow with a small white head. The nose is fresh, peachy, apricot, yoghurt, and light mustiness. The taste is tart, sherbet, cloudy lemonade, lactic, peach, grapefruit and moderate acidity with a crisp tart finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Crisp, well-balanced and very drinkable.

Bottle thanks to Alemax. Pours cloudy straw with very quickly settling white head, no lace. Aroma is strong peach, tart/sour. Flavor is strong peach, tart, tropical, mildly sour finish. Somewhat straightforward, but tasty all the same. Tart, fruity. Moderate carbonation, light body. A fruity, tasty berliner weisse.

Bottle share at the Rainbow IPA mini event at the King William IV. Thanks to Bruce. Hazy gold beer with a small white head. Light airy palate, dry. Good minerally carbonation. Semi tart sourness goes well with peach sherbet. Light dry finish.
