COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our Peach Berliner Weisse is a German-style tart wheat beer that’s perfect for the hot summer months. We violate traditional German beer production methods in every way by adding hundreds of pounds of Midwest-grown peaches to each batch. We hope you enjoy the irreverence as much as we do.

Bottle(CBC Clapham; RBESG 2014):Very pale, yellow coloured, hazy, quickly collapsing loose white head; mild sourish-fruity nose with a mild grainy touch; quite dry - not bone dry - sour flavour, light bodied - as expected - and spritzy; relatively light and mild sour finish. Sigh… Refreshing at least…

Bottle shared during the RBESG 2014 opening dinner - CBC Clapham. Pours unclear gold with a foamy white head. A nice, dry sour with light acidic cleanliness, semi-vibrant citrus and stone fruit, light bitter hay. Light to medium bodied with fine, spritzy carbonation. Clean, lightly tart lemon and peach finish. Nice.

Bottle. Mildly hazy gold, no head. Aroma is very delicate and subtle. Peach fuzz or skin and light floral hints, light funk.

Flavor is over ripe peaches, subtle tartness and pale malts. Light mineral hints. Also a light musty basement element. Nice wheat body with a crispness that is refreshing. I enjoyed this quite a bit.

Bottle sampled at the RBESG 2014 CBC Clapham. Very pale light cloudy amber, medium to small light delicate white foam head. Nose is light fresh peach, delicate, fruity, lightly floral and sweet, light crisp sourness. Taste is sour and light tart forward, light urine and then nice subtle fresh peach, nicely balanced with the sours.

Had on cask. Pour is hazed pale gold with a bubbly frothy white head. Nose is peach, very fleshy. Fair amount of pepper and basil. The spice plays a strong role. Taste is earthy up front, peach follows but subtle peach and a bit unripened. The spice is much more subtle and the pepper is faded in the taste. The peach lingers, cask so body is so soft and light with faint carbonation if any.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Noam’s office. Thanks DSG. Pinkish gold and hazy. Peach, fresh fruit aroma, delicately sour, peachy taste. Fizzy fruity aftertaste and light body.
