COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Inspired by the rustic farmhouse-style Saisons of Southern Belgium, Regalia is brewed with barley, wheat and spelt and fermented with Brettanomyces Bruxellensis and Brettanomyces Anomala. A sturdy malt character supports the complex array of flavors that the yeast provides, and will continue to develop over time.

Draft... RBSG 2014… Pours hazy and dirty-orange with a small creamy white head. Good retention. The nose is a yeast-driven mélange of esters and phenols - peach, pear, farmhouse spiciness and anise. Full-bodied and milky with tingly carbonation. The yeast-driven flavor duplicates the nose, except it supplies even more phenolic, farmhouse, clove-like spiciness. Spice-rack aftertaste as well. Pretty good, and thoughtfully crafted, but these farmhouse/saison phenol bombs are not my thing.

Flavors of caramel, yeast, light fruitiness and light barnyard funk with a smooth dry lingering caramel finish.

Bottle. Bountiful pour of opaque golden-orange topped by some big, rolling piles of white foam. There is but a hint of yeasty funk in the aroma, otherwise it seems quite tranquil. The beers flavors are in line with tradition ... light esthers, tropical fruit, under-baked bread. Even keeled and easy to drink for an 8.5% beer, and worth the price. (#5573, 7/7/2014)

Bottle at brother Nick's: pours cloudy, muddied orange, thin, dense off white head. Nose is funk, damp blanket, hay, yeast, cracker malts. Lighter bodied with some vegetal yeast funkiness and a hint of alcohol heat on finish. Complex ale ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

This beer is slightly cloudy orange in the glass and has a small ring of white head. I am getting big time cherry fruitiness in the the nose. It is a bit on the sweet side but has a nice fruity character at least. It has brisk carbonation and light bitterness in the finish. It’s pretty tasty overall but definitely not my favorite from this brewer.
