750 ml. bottle. It pours a hazy orange color with a small, fizzy white head. The aroma has some herbs, toasted grains, light notes of apricot and light hints of soapy yeast. The flavor is really nice. Toasted grains and herbs up front followed by a pleasant apricot and pear fruit character. Light chamomile herbal quality in the finish that’s also solidly bitter. The carbonation is high and spot on for the style. The balance between the herbs, toasted grains and apricot/pear fruitiness is what makes this a great beer. I will be making this a regular purchase.

Scopey (12505) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAR 7, 2016
Bottle thanks to Fergois at the 2016 Cotteridge Convention. It pours cloudy gold with a thick white head. The aroma is fresh, clean, floral, cereal, cracker, light ginger and pepper. The taste is crisp, apple, sweet pear, straw, florals, cereal, slightly chewy, cracker and peppery ginger with a dry finish. Medium body and average carbonation. Nice floral notes, but there is a bit too much sweet ester contribution.
