750 ml bottle. Looks pretty nice in the glass, pale golden color with a big thick white head. Aroma of pale golden malt, chamomile, mild floral and straw notes. There is also a mild general fruitiness to the aroma. Flavor is bready, with mild herbal and fruity sweetness. Crisp, refreshing, with lively carbonation. Medium fruity finish.

Hazy golden yellow in color with clear white foam... Aroma of chamomile flowers, floral hops, light golden malts, candi sugar... Flavor is light bodied, crisp mouthfeel, fruity sweet malt notes, honey, candi sugar... Not much on the finish, slightly dry yeast notes... Solid ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Enjoyed at Bailey’s Range in St. Louis. This beer arrived a crystal clear polished bright gold in color with a one finger head. It was the second beer I ordered but maintained the white head for over fifteen minutes. The nose featured light Belgian yeast and pale malt. It wasn’t overly telling and unfortunately not very aromatic. The flavors however offered pale Belgian malt sweetness, real honey, and honey crisp apples. After the nose I didn’t expect that. It is very well balanced. The apple in the after taste is pretty nice. It drinks light in body and doesn’t show any of its alcohol. For a beer of the style it is very sessionable. Overall I was quite impressed. This beer was pretty nice on draft. I’d order another.

Chamomile, candy sugar, some perfumey fruits, and sweet caramel malts. Could use less sweetness and more yeast characteristics. The malts take over a bit.

From Keir. Thanks! Glass; from notes. A; Golden color with a firm white head. Decent lacing. N: Rose, lemon, glue, bread, esters, yeast, chamomile and green tea. T: Limey bastard with tequila. Very floral, moderately sweet. M: Puffy light body. A very interesting (yes, this is very midwest) saison that’s literally tequila with lime. I don’t know how this happens, but it did. Not to style, but worth a try just for that aspect.

UPDATED: MAR 4, 2014 Tap at hops and pie. Hazy yellow gold with a thin white head. Aromas of lemon, citrus, yeast and light floral notes. Flavor is lemon, citrus, spice, and that chamomile. Light to medium bodied, slightly dry finish.

Appearance is cloudy pale golden with a thick creamy white foam cap. Aroma is typical farmhouse, with Belgian fruity esters of apricot and a distinctly earthy and herbal wild yeast aroma. Taste is sweet bready malt with a slight peppery bite and mild fruitiness. Mouthfeel is light and highly carbonated. Finishes dry with a tartness that lingers. Overall, a decent farmhouse but seems to be missing something. Also a slightly metallic taste, maybe from the chamomile? Very thin and mild tasting compared to other saisons

Poured from bottle into tulip: pours hazy straw colored with a thin white head. Aroma is funk, hay, fruit, and horse blanket. Taste is grass, spice, and funk. Light body but very tasty. I like it.
