3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours a hazy gold with a foamy white head and lacing. It has an aroma of biscuit, grass, and flowers. The flavor is similar, with a bready flavor that is followed by a grassy finish with honey and chamomile over a medium body.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Draught at Erzbierschof’s Bar Krone, Bern
First glass of the keg. Muddy light amber color, creamy head. Aroma of malt, yeast, fruit. Lean body, smooth and dry, a bit spicy, drier in the final, light vegetable.
Nice, not impressive, some flaws.

draught@Erzbierschof Krone - cloudy dark orange beer with a modest foam left; aroma of mango and chamomile; medium-bodied, low carbonation and with a short aftertaste of caramel, lichies and chamomile and a ingering sharpness as well

I think the chamomile is way over done. It is kinda soapy, I think for the chamomile reason.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Pours a fairly clear gold with a very slight hint of orange to it that might just be the lighting. About a finger or so of dense foamy head covers it and aromas of lemon, light spice and a little barnyard and apple juice concentrate are present. I so want to like this beer more, but it is pretty un-epic in all areas. Flavor is apple juice and spicy pepper... Mouthfeel is fruity, sugary and airy... It’s just not quite there for my tastes.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours beautiful golden honey with a tall white head that lasts forever. Aroma is funky and earthy. Taste is funk and earthiness at first, with and little bit of acidity. This is smooth and drinkable for sure, but just not very complex.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Tasted on tap at Craft Beer Cellar in a snifter glass. It poured a hazy yellow colour with thin but persistent white foam, lots of fine Belgian lace. Definite Belgian yeast spice: banana, black pepper, clove, subtle bubble gum. Light body and crisp grainy mouthfeel, slight acidity. Very little hop presence initially but some bitterness creeps up with subsequent sips and into a long-lasting aftertaste. A tasty and true-to-style saison.
