Bottle kindly shared by FX Cannelle at ZBF14. Incredible! In the nose as well in the aromas, this beer is quite close to the impressions of apfelstrudel, thanks to a beautiful balance of apples and cinnamon notes, topped with a raisin fruit sour bite. Love this!

Orange tinted, strong visible carbonation and a huge, long lasting, bone white head. Floral, fruity, white pepper phenols. Bready and lightly toasty with pomme fruit, floral notes & white pepper. Lingering floral finish. Crisp. Quite nice.

(Thanks Peter "russellcrow") Bottle. A- Flowers, yeasty, lemon, herby. A- Yellow color, cloudy liquid, big white head. T- Wheat, lemons, slightly floral, spices. P- Light body, average texture, average carbonation, dry finish. O- At first, I didn’t think I was going to enjoy this much. Turned out to be quite the opposite. While I would consider this more of a wheat ale than a saison, I loved it. The chamomile added a nice subtle touch and it drank smoothly and the flavors were great. The bottle wasn’t too shabby either. Overall, I was pleasantly surprised with this one.

Bottle. Pours hazy straw with white head that lasts and laces. Smells of esthers, astringency, and citrus. Drinks smoothly with mild lingering bitterness. Light bodied. Tastes of light malt, bubblegum, light astringency, and slight vanilla.

750 mL bottle from Total Wine, Chesapeake, VA. Yellowish-orange pour with a thin frothy off-white head. Aroma is lightly sweet with citrus peel and leather in the background. The flavor is even better with perfectly blended amounts of light tartness and gentle honey sweetness. A great saison!

UPDATED: MAR 30, 2014 Such a great beer. This is the perfect example of American saison. Fresh aromas of basil and licorice with a full taste of lemon up front. Followed by more herbs and a sweet malt and yeast aftertaste. This is superb.

Tap at Max’s. Pours mostly clear yellow/gold with creamy white head. Aroma is bubblegum, floral notes, light bready notes, and faint citrus. Flavor is a fresh balance of malts and hops with some light fruit esters; dry finish. Well blended but everything was low key with a light/medium body and medium carbonation.

Flowery saison with a nice dose of bubble gum. A touch of hay in here. Comes together well, with good balance. Cloudy golden pour with decent head and lacing. Finishes a tough on the sweet side. Tap at Boundary Road.
