Appearance is cloudy pale golden with a thick creamy white foam cap. Aroma is typical farmhouse, with Belgian fruity esters of apricot and a distinctly earthy and herbal wild yeast aroma. Taste is sweet bready malt with a slight peppery bite and mild fruitiness. Mouthfeel is light and highly carbonated. Finishes dry with a tartness that lingers. Overall, a decent farmhouse but seems to be missing something. Also a slightly metallic taste, maybe from the chamomile? Very thin and mild tasting compared to other saisons

Bottle. Colour...light hazy gold with a thin white head. Nose...chamomile galore and loads of white peach aromas. Palate...bitter up front and then delightful hits of chamomile buds and chamomile tea. There’s yeasty bits and slight funk to go with the dry palate, and the finish is long with more tea like notes.

Pours a hazy pale gold color with a white head. Yeast, funk, fruit and spice aroma. Yeast, funk, pear, peach, apple, apricot, spice and biscuit flavors. Medium body and carbonation with a fruit and yeast finish.

This was the best new (to me) saison I have had in a long time, on tap at Brasserie V, Madison on Friday night before the Great Taste. Hazy, yellow color. aroma with cinnamon and yeast. Soft flavors of ripe pear, cinnamon, and flower tea, which is where the chamomile comes through. Very good.

Could really taste the chamomile in the flavor and other light fruity flavors. Light color. Delicious.

Light gold, slightly hazy, with a thin foamy white ring around the top. Light barn/Belgian aroma, little else. The flavor is crisp and blonde and saison estery with a crisp herbal hop bitterness and a touch of blonde estery Belgian crispness.

750 ml bottle thanks to Willrunforbeer! Aroma is nice botanicals, chamomile, yeast that is lightly fruity (bubblegum?), dusty. The body has a nice chewy texture, mildly lingering chamomile. The yeast presence is very well integrated throughout giving decent balance between flowers and fruit. I really like this.

750mL bottle. Pours orange gold with a big white head. Pour slowly or this will foam right over! Aroma is melon, herbs, Belgian yeast. Flavor is honey, wheat. Fairly dry and leaves a chamomile coating on the tongue, like Sleepytime tea.

Bottle. Gusher, but not explosive. Frothy white head, hazy darker rusty orange. Earthy honey, crackers, floral spices, and hay in the aroma. Getting more honey at first than anything, slight chamomile, light hay, dough, and a peppery finish. Lighter body, right carbonation, and very slick.

Bottle. Slight hazy light golden body. Big, frothy white head, lasting. Aroma of chamomile, citrus, lemon, spice, herbs, light earthiness. The flavor is moderately sweet, lightly bitter and lightly acidic. It finishes lightly sweet, lightly bitter and lightly to moderately acidic. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Chamomile dominates the taste, but there are notes of citrus, pepper. Tart finish. Fairly clean. Undercarbonated for a saison. Still, a pleasant surprise.

Received this 750mL bottle in a trade -- poured into a Prairie Flute. Hazy golden color with soft herbal and citrus notes. Flavor is a smooth peppery-citrusy cascade of malt sweetness. Great Saison. No one does this style better.
