Thanks to JulienHuxley. 750 ml. bottle sampled @ ZBF 2014. Hazy citrus appearance with a creamy white head. Smells faintly lactic with sweet apples, flowers and yeast, mildly tart in the nose. Tastes basically like Apfelstrudel, sweet cooked apples, cinnamon, raisins, cane sugar, sweet dough, sweet goodness. Very easy to drink. I love Apfelstrudel and this is incredible.

Bottle. Must, chamomile, and malt aroma. Cloudy golden yellow color with moderate head. Lightly sweet chamomile and malt flavor. Decent body. Extremely subtle flavors but I love this beer - a great thirst quencher that I could drink all day.

Murky yellow orange body,.Slow rising trails of carbonation. A lasting ring of foam remains around the edges of the glass.Floral aromas of honey, herbs, hops and yeast. Simple and balanced.Flavors of bitter herbal tea, chamomile, dry grassy bitterness. Lots of yeast, a "green" freshness to it. Light floral-derived phenolic. Honeyed malt appears in the aftertaste, mild spiciness. Effervescent with a medium bodied mouthfeel. Overall a pleasant Saison, one Id drink again for sure.

Bottle kindly shared by FX Cannelle at ZBF14. Incredible! In the nose as well in the aromas, this beer is quite close to the impressions of apfelstrudel, thanks to a beautiful balance of apples and cinnamon notes, topped with a raisin fruit sour bite. Love this!

Refreshing fruity aroma with a cloudy gold color. Has a slightly sweet spicy flavor with not a lot of bitter. A great beer for a hot day.

Id probably call this a Belgian pale ale and its an excellent one. First pour from a 750 is almost perfectly clear w/ tons of visable carbonation and a large, pillowy head. The nose is very yeast forward w/ a waft of fresh banana hitting you first which wanes to a more floral tone w/ just a hint of black pepper spiciness. This is incredibly creamy across the tongue but still light and drinkable. A touch of sweetness brings out a softer fruity quality along w/ some clove notes. It finishes clean w/ just a touch of a lingering floral note, which is really the only place I get chamomile specifically. A flavorful Belgian w/ a subtle twist, this is one of those lighter beers that practically drinks itself--and I just cant get enough.

Floral with floral fruity yeast aroma. Yeast character with light dried fruit flavor. Tart on the finish.

Received this 750mL bottle in a trade -- poured into a Prairie Flute. Hazy golden color with soft herbal and citrus notes. Flavor is a smooth peppery-citrusy cascade of malt sweetness. Great Saison. No one does this style better.
