Draft at the brewery during Abraxas release. Golden with a little bit of foam. This brought some funky wild effects along with fresh complex fruit. This is not your ordinary blonde as it is more interesting than most. Lemon and grain. A bit of spice. Not full bodied but it does bring nice interesting flavors.

Tap @ Perennial. Pours a bit lazy, yellow appearance with a white head. Straw, light barnyard, floral, lemon aroma. Floral, dry, straw, easy drinking flavor. For a style I don’t like all that much, this was pretty refreshing.

On tap at brewery. Pours a clear pale yellow. Nice sweet grain aroma. Lots of lemon on the aroma. Medium mouthfeel follows through with a crisp, lemony finish.

Tasted on tap in standard pint glass. Poured a mostly clear light golden color with some chill haze and a moussy white head, long-lasting with nice Belgian lace. Aromas of grain, freshly baked whole wheat bread, some ripe fruit, mildly spicy hops, pepper, clove, and a little distinctly Belgian wildness. Flavors of mellow malt, tangy hops bitterness, apricot, lemon zest, slight sourness similar to saison, lambic or Berliner weiss. Combined with the high carbonation and sharp bite, it somewhat resembles Champagne. Light body, lingering multi-faceted aftertaste. As complex and delicious as authentic Belgian Blond Ales. Recommended.

tap at brewery-pours clear crisp blonde hue with a small soapy white head. nose is floral lite esters and lite grains. flavors follow suit with nice lovely grainy lemon notes. very sessionable lite crisp beer with a very floral finish. Simple and straight forward blonde here. A little more complex than most, which aids to this beers quality.

Pours yellow and clear with a small white head. The aroma is sweet and candy-like along with mild lightly toasty malt and fruity Belgian yeast. Medium / light smooth body with mild carbonation. The flavor starts with smooth creamy malt, spiciness, huskiness and a light hope bite. The flavor is thankfully much drier than the aroma and very pleasant. As it warms a bit there is a bit of lemon and spice character that shows through. Enjoyable beer.
