We start with a Belgian-Style Witbier, add 300 lbs of strawberries, 100 lbs of rhubarb stalks, and a few handfuls of Indian coriander. The result is a subtly sweet, refreshingly tart, surprisingly citrusy tribute to summer.

Capped 750 from Wine & Cheese in Clayton, MO. Purs hazy gold with a transient white head. Aroma is sort of generic light fruit. Med (almost) body. Flavor is strawberry with something that might be rhubarb. More saison than fruit. Lightly tart.

750 ml bottle poured a clear gold with a lasting white head. Aroma of wheat, vanilla, coriander, strawberry, rhubarb and light carmel. Palate was light bodied and crisp with a dry finish. Flavors of vaniulla, strawberry, rhubarb, wheat and light coriander with a crisp dry lingering strawberry finish.

Apple juice color, white head. Aroma of spice, fruit and melting rubber. Flavor has some rubber, tartness, coriander, and maybe a hint of rhubarb.

Bottle @ Brad’s house Minneapolis, courtesy of jcnielsen. Pours a hazy, golden orange appearance with a bright white head. Zesty, strawberry-rhubarb pie, somewhat spicy, wheat malty aroma. Very dessert-like aroma. Tart, rich strawberry, herbal rhubarb, juicy, herbal, a bit floral, big pie-like, spicy flavor. Really a tasty pie/dessert beer.

Draft at the brewery, served in a kolsch-style glass, albeit just a little shorter and wider. Pours a pale, cloudy gold with a tiny white head that immediately settles into a lasting ring. Aroma of dry apple skins, tart rhubarb, faint tart strawberry, coriander, wheat, and pale malts- it’s all there but really dialed back. The flavor shows them with a little more pop, tart rhubarb, dry grains, minerals, coriander, and strawberry. Light-bodied, with moderate carbonation, a very dry mouthfeel and a quick finish. Not exactly my thing but very interesting and worth trying.

Pour out of 750 mL bottle, hazy orange-yellow pour with white head, aroma brought orange peel, grain, some biscuit into some nice berry, strawberry, hints of vanilla with some lemon. Taste was a mix of lemon, grass, strawberry into a bit of berry, hints of vanilla into some biscuit, finishing slightly tart.

Bottle shared by bhensonb. Pours hazy blonde with a thin off-white head and a fruity aroma. There is a thin wheat flavor with a sourish fruit taste and dry finish. Not what I expected, but sitll pretty drinkable.

Pours hazy gold with full off white head. The aroma has a nice load of strawberry followed by salty sort of vegetable rhubarb notes rimmed with a sense of black pepper. The taste has a mix of fruity tartness and strawberries and then rolls into earthy like vegetable earthiness. Nice stuff where I was pleased with the depth and strength of the strawberry notes.

Sampled at the Augusta Bottoms Fest. A thick shave cream white foam that lasts nicely. Cloudy golden. Strawberry and rhubarb is prominent in both the aroma and flavor. Light wheat. Feel is creamy and fizzy. The rhubarb brings a unique flavor. It was not tart but more sour.

Pours clear golden with a white head. The aroma has mild fruitiness, mild (if any) toast, some wheatiness and is smooth and clean. Medium / light smooth body with mild carbonation. The flavor starts out with light spice, rhubarb tartness, light strawberry, pepper and mild smooth wheat. The finish has a spiciness that seems like white pepper and is a bit funky. Nice beer.
