750mL bottle, pours black with a small brown head. Aroma is rich and complex, with loads of rich espresso, medium roasted malt and light cocoa. Flavour is sweet, with mounds of coffee beans, medium roasted malt, maybe a touch of vanilla beans and cocoa. Slightly sweet on the finish but it’s balanced beautifully by the rich coffee. Decadent, thick on the palate. Wonderful stuff.

A classic coffee-based imperial stout, full-bodied and bitter. There’s tons of dark chocolate and espresso here that is full, vivid and deep. Maybe the slightest hint of the blackest licorice imaginable here as well, but no fruit whatsoever. Long, consistent finish. Very sure of its identity.

750 ml. bottle sampled @ Maldegem tasting. Thanks to Mathieu87 & PriorL. Pitch black with little mocha head. Very thick looking. Nose pure coffee basically, hugely thick, bitter roasted artisanal coffee, light molasses & touch herbal coffee + more coffee bitterness. Taste is an insane amount of coffee, bitter & roasted artisanal coffee, roasted malts that blend with the roasted coffee, light molasses, brown sugar, lightly boozy,… Body is like sludge coffee, hugely thick,… More coffee than beer, probably heaven for coffee lovers, personally while this is very good, I might preferred more beer character here.

Bottle, thnx to kermis. Pours a pitch black beer with a big brown head on top. Aroma of coffee, caramel, molasses, licorice and some roasted touches. Flavour has a big coffee bitter note, loads of licorice. Just a very basic, but certainly very good imperial stout. Nice stuff.

Bottle shared. Pours near black with a ring beige head. Aroma of big roast, espresso, caramel, toffee and malt. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and heavy bitter. Fairly thick chewy mouthfeel. Full bodied with soft carbonation.
