How: Bottle (750 ml) at tasting. Shared by mathieuc, thanks!

>>> A tasty imperial stout loaded with coffee but with a body strong enough to support it effectively.

+ Loads of coffee that definitely takes the spotlight, but there’s also a bunch of well integrated supporting flavors like dark chocolate, molasses, roasted malts and even some spiciness (green peppers, cinnamon)
+ The palate is nice and rich with a strong/full body to support the ton of coffee and a nice warming finish
+ The beer is looking good being pitch black with a medium dark brown head, pretty good retention and some lacing

Flavors: Coffee (dominant), roasted malts, dark chocolate, alcohol, molasses, mild spiciness (cinnnamon / green peppers)

Pours a good black with no head and no lacing. Nose is of coffee, plain and simple coffee. Taste is moderate sweet and bitter, offers more coffee and other roasted components. Body is medium-full and carbonation low, enhancing the smooth mouthfeel. Overall a pretty good imperial stout, I’d drink a small glass of that again.

pitch Black 2 finger coffee head. Smells like chocolate covered espresso beans. This is a complete and total coffee bomb. it’s roasty, a bit of coffee acid, raisin and cinnamon and a lot of chocolate. super roasty, great mouthfeel. If you love injecting mounds of coffee into Imperial stouts, this is it. the mouthfeel is excellent

750 mL bottle poured. Sent by Bob. Thanks! Was so happy to get this in a trade, and while it sat, they began distributing up here. Oh well, this one was from the local source, so it’s cool. Pours black with a thin foam head. Peppery coffee like aroma with some vanilla. Huge coffee flavor, as expected. Long coffee cocoa finish. So tasty.

Super dark, initially . Nose is greeny coffee, honest smelling roast. Very rich initial decay of roast and soft bitterness. The coffee is really uplifting here, creaminess throughout with a marshmallow dutiful sweetness. Carbonation is fairly soft, greasy but moreish mouthfeel. Finishes neat and lacey coffee again with a linger of brisk peppery dark malt - crystally in places.
