COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Collaboration with Hopleaf! We started by brewing a traditional German Berlinerweiss—which Napolean’s men called the Champagne of the North—then tweaked it with a homemade tea blend to impart a slight apricot hue and botanical aromatics.

Smells sour. Very tart. Some tea. Not my kind of thing. Tasted at Tony B?s bachelor party.

Draft at the Bridge. Pours light yellow with a thin white head. Leaves a lot of lacing in the glass. Solid sour notes on the nose. Big tart and sour notes on the tongue. There’s almost a creaminess on the mouthfeel. Finishes clean. I get a bit of the tea on the finish. Certainly my favorite from these guys so far.

Pour on tap at Tap and Handle, hazy yellow-orange pour with white head, aroma brought notes of tart lemon, biscuit, touch of herbal, tea like notes with some slight spice, caramel notes with a touch of citrus. Taste was a mix of citrus, grass, biscuit into a bit of tea, slight tart note with some caramel, finishing tart, slightly dry.

Bottle at the RBSG 2014 Grand Tasting courtesy of the kind folks at Perennial.

Pours hazy & yellow with a decent head and nice lacing on the glass.

The aroma is yogurt and husky malt with... in all seriousness... dirty bathroom. There’s no way to sugar coat it, it smells, just a little bit like stale dried up urine.

The flavor is tart and fruity with some nice lemon and passion fruit. No odd or "nasty" characteristics from the aroma really carry over to the flavor. The her has very little bitterness and is basically dry.

On tap at The Collective Tap, pours a clear golden orange with a small white head. Aroma is bland, with light notes of tea. Flavour is the same, with herbal tea notes. Light citric tartness on the finish. Not a fan of this - very weak.

Orange pour from draft at rocking horse. White foamy head. Lemon and tart aroma. Tart lemon and tea flavor. Sry finish. Crisp and poundable. Not bad. Perennial rocks

Pours a dark clear golden with fizzy white head. Aromas are somewhat metallic, a bit of tart citrus too. I get bubblegum in the flavors followed by a tart finish. It ends quickly though.

From notes. Tasted on 6/5/13 on draft at the brewpub during a baseball trip with Adam and Taylor. Pours hazy pink grapefruit color with a thin white head that leaves a thin collar of lace. The nose is wheat malt and lightly tart with a fruity tea aroma. The flavor is a bit more tart with the same malt taking a back seat, and plenty of fruity tea. The body is light with very lively carbonation and a short, tart finish.
