COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Collaboration with Hopleaf! We started by brewing a traditional German Berlinerweiss—which Napolean’s men called the Champagne of the North—then tweaked it with a homemade tea blend to impart a slight apricot hue and botanical aromatics.

Lots of sourish tropical fruits here. Pours pink murky with OK head and lacing. Finished medium sour. Hibiscus and some other fruits I can’t pick out. Bottle thanks to ajax25g.

Bottle - 750mL crowned. Bottled 5/2014. Blushing amber with a tall, foamy white head. Tart fruit, lemon juice, wheat, funky yeast, herbs and flowers. Taste is strong sour fruit, yogurt, funky yeast, herbal notes, unripe tropical fruit, earthy notes and wheat. Body is light and very effervescent. Bottle. Hazy rose/amber into the glass with a white head. Big funky yeast aromas with some subtle acidic notes. Flavor is funky and sour. I don’t get much tea flavor at all with this one but it is still a solid example of the style.

2014 bottle. Slightly hazy with a pink blush. Nice flowery, hibiscus aroma. Taste is light and slightly tart. The tea comes through nicely, an compliments the tartness. Refreshing during a hot summer day. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a pinkish orange color with an off white head and decent lacing. Aroma of hibiscus, wheat, yeast and some tartness. Taste starts off tart with a slight fruitiness and perceived sweetness then some herbal tea. Finishes tart. A light but semi creamy body with high carbonation. Wanted more fruitiness from this and more complexity. Didn’t really enjoy.

A hazy light brown with a touch of pink. Smells of tropical fruits, mango, some wheat, rye type smells and some sort of floral notes, cracker. Taste is a medium sour fruit burst that gives way to a wheat like bitter and dry finish. A little briney salty flavor, saltine cracker. Some interesting flavors with the tropical flavors and the sour amd a tea/wheat like bitter. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
