Draught (Ravintola Perho, Helsinki) Dark brown, red glints, very tight small head. Slightly sickly sweet aroma. Cold and carbonated, so a bit harsh. Slightly raw taste, grainy and husky, pleasant bitterness too. Hint of ginger. But the raw mashiness is a bit too dominant. Good attempt, but falls a little short. (5-3-6-2-12=2.8)

Coffee aroma. Soft palate, a touch lactic, but only to a smooth extent, not acidic. Decent, but very soft and sweet. Slightly spicy, not overly so. Very balanced, nicely roasted. Very drinkable - this batch was their best regular beer I’d say.

Draught@Ravintola Perho, some of the last tanks for the season. Dark rubyish redbrown colour, with slight hazyness. Head was bigbubbly, slightly off white which disappeared fast. Sweet roasted caramel malts with some cinnamon and clove. Flavour was again quite weird, almost like cooked vegetables with some cinnamon and pepper added. Some caramel malts. Christmasbeer spices are in there, but seems like the beer never got balanced during the season when looking at sayravais rating.

(Draught@Perho) Dark reddish-brown color with a medium, disappearing, big-bubbly head. Sweetish, cinnamon-spicy, licoricey aroma with roasty malt hints. Somewhat unclean (vegetably) flavor with spices, salty licorice, acidity and sweetish malt. Medium-bodied, slightly sticky and low-carbonated palate. A quite unclean and a bit thin xmas brew. Not the most pleasant.
