2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
UPDATED: SEP 5, 2008 Bottled at Pivovarsky Klub, Prague. Clear golden, rich but brief head. Fruity nose. Sweet and quite malty with rounded mouthfeel. Fruitiness dominates, the hops promised in the name stay well in the background until a late, somewhat resiny finish. A standard lager with a slight hoppy twist.

1.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 3/20
Can, 6.0%. Cardboard aroma, old sweet malt. Clear golden colour. Small white head. The flavour starts off with a little bread, turns vinous in the old way. Has some malt or sugar in the finish, but it is cardboardy and rough.

1.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 6/20
Bottle, thx to thewolf. A clear, golden beer with an off-white head. Grassy and hoppy with a not so good touch of wet hay in the aroma. There’s hay in the flavor too, but dry this time, as well as grain, grass and a tiny bitterness. Medium to thin body. Wasn’t content at all with this one, but at least it isn’t off. (080301)

2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
(50cl bottle, 6.2% ABV) Sparkling clear apple juice body with medium white head. Aroma is medium sweet, bread, some apple, butter. Taste is medium sweet, bread, some cereal, spicy/earthy/grassy, light apple. Fairly drinkable light body with some crispness, alcohol doesn’t bleed through despite its heft for the style.

1.2 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 5/20
Notes of alcohol, grain, faint hops, gasoline. Most strong polish beers don’t earn the label ’Malt liquor’, but this shit is just beggin’ for a forty.
