Nice looking and tasting lager from the Lublin region. Much better than the average lager.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Botle. Golden and clear. Small head with a subtle bitterness. Lacked both body and bite but still quite resonable.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
bottle from Piotr & Pawel w Wawie. Clear pale yellow colour, large and creamy white head, nice hoppy nose, quite green and fresh. Elegant malty base, slightly grainy, with lots of fresh hops, resiny and grassy. Near to a German Pilsener. Underrated in my opinion, as it’s a solid lager with a convincing hop profile.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Green bottle of 500 ml, boight in a polish shop in Arnhem. Poured into my Guinness pint glass.
Nice appearance, with yellow golden body and two fingers of soapy white head. Good retention, no lacing.
Malty aroma, quite typical of a lager, but this one smells of some hops too.
Taste is quite malty as well, with a stale bread flavour, overall sweet as expected, but it turns better on the aftertaste, where you can taste some bitterness and taste some hops.
Thin to medium on the body, quite carbonated.
I got maybe 12-13 different beers from that shop and this was easily the second best. I was afraid that it would taste skunky, but that was not the case. Very refreshing brew, from the ones you can drink all night long in a bar.

500ml green bottle. BB 19.08.14. Pours light to medium gold colour with a towering, dense head which lasted very well. Minimal lacing. Grassy aroma with a hint of malt. Distinctive Polish taste (maybe it’s the spring water they use). Quite sweet with only slight bitterness. Light to medium body with a lingering sweet taste. I’m not sure what to make of this one. I think it’s okay but I may be wrong.

Taste of malt and grain. The same with aroma. Sweet from the start with bitter background. Dry finish. Refreshing and easy drinkable

3.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Light bitter palate. White foam, stays for 90 seconds. Dark-gold colour. Not a bad Polish lager.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Medium gold and sparkling with heavy carbonation and donned by a shortlived fluff of white. Grassy, minty, herbal and spicy is the hop dominated nose with just a wink of pale malt. Hefty, prickly carbonation blinds the palate a little but hastens its sweep from start to swallow. The body light and finish crisp. Grassy aroma matches the grassy, hoppy palate. Mint, lemon-pepper and flat leaf parsley (a first!) comes through as does a hint of sourish rue. The bitterness is shortlived passed the tonsils and it fades off quickly. A short showing of palest grain and haybale straw offers little balance. Easy drinking to be sure but nothing superb to write home about. Another clean cut Polish lager, Not bad! 3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Mine says 6% abv. Light yellow color. Palate is a bit more substantial than a typical pils, probably due to the higher-than-average abv. A little bitter. The flavor is earthy; the hops taste like spruce and pine cones. Not bad.
