COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Back Label, translated from Polish: Perła Miodowa perfectly joins hop bitterness as known by the beer lovers with the natural honey sweetness directly from the Lublin land. Try and taste the honey interpretation of Perła Chmielowa (Hop Perl). Ingredients: water, barley malt, hops, natural honey. Naturally hazy.

Aroma of honey and lager beer. The taste is reminding me of a mix of lager beer and mead. A little sweet finish.

500ml bottle. Gold pour, white head, some meager lacing. Aroma is hops, staleish malt, and grape juice. Flavor has honey sweetness and some metallic character. No doubt every ingredient is not listed. IT tastes fine for a honey-flavored beer but don’t expect a crisp lager.

Bottle. Hazy gold with a white foam. Aromas are grain with honey and corn. Flavours are sweet grain and corn with light lemon and slick honey. Some strange off eggy notes. Not good.

Bottle from European Shop, Leicester. Flat looking golden hue. Resolutely sweet, but not sickly. The honey lends a sugary smoothness and hazy richness. The plain Lager underscores proceedings. Normally not my thing, but enjoyed this.

Bottle from The Ship Heworth. Pours light orange, minimal head. Strong synthetic honey flavour but it's not that objectionable all told. Couldn't drink a lot of it though

16.9 oz bottle 9/12/14 (Local liquor store)-Pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma of sweetness, grains, and malt. Taste of the same with more sweetness. This light bodied brew is a bit sweet but not bad.

500ml bottle @ the 8th Shrewsbury Bottle Share, courtesy of myself from the one Polish shop in Shrewsbury. Not too sweet for a honey beer, fairly easy drinking and inoffensive and not a lot of honey coming through but just enough sweetness to pick up your tastebuds. Can’t say this is a bad beer, just a bit meh.

Cheers Mat, 500ml bottle: BBD 27 Jan 15, shared between 4 at the Sep 14 Shrewsbury bottle exchange. We seem to have a honey brew or a ’Cock’ named bottle every session, this was the months offering. Pours a lovely clear golden colour with a pure white head. If you had no sense of smell you’d say it was a lager/pilsner, but your nose tells you someone has dropped a bucket of honey into the brewing kettle and the taste confirms it. Too much honey for me.
