COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Perla Mocna is a high quality beer traditionally brewed with very deep aroma. The long fermentation process and storing period are guarantees of great flavor. The recipe that is strictly protected by our brewers is prepared especially for the real beer drinkers.

Bottled 01/06/12. I often have a soft spot for the industrial nature of mocnes. The heavy alcohol and the syrupy texture against an orangey fruity background. This is inferior though as it just doesn’t have that depth of industrialness and just comes across as a strong pale lager (which of course it is). Below average.

Can: Medium airy light sticky and slow disappearing white head on top of a clear yellow light orange colored beer. Smell malts, grains, corn, light sweat, light glue. Taste malts, corn, light orange, slight hint of something yeasty ish, barleys, light bitter, slight hint of spices. Aftertaste of barley malts, light bitter and something orange malty. Low to no carbo, soft light watery mouthfeel, low to medium body and a light watery texture with a light creamy touch.

Can from Inter Supermarket, Bearwood, West Mids. Smells dreadful - like candy coated, coagulated vomit. Tastes rather much better. Smooth, shiny sweetened cereal, lagery. Pretty easy to drink, not harsh. Doesn’t taste the strength. Liked it.

Test vom 3.10.2009, Gebinde: Dose Noten: 8,8,9,8,9,8 - 8,20

Gold with no head. Aromas are sweet grain malts. Flavours are sweet malts, grain, hints of fruit and petrol. Quite smooth on the pale.

Can, from an ethnic food store in Scunthorpe. Gold, fluffy but shortlived white head and gentle condition. Quite grainy in the nose with a faint woodiness and suggestions of alcohol, soft and full bodied in the mouth with a solid chalky bitterness blending discreetly with a sweet candy maltiness that swerves towards peardrops at times, gentle malty finish with some retronasal spirityy alcohol notes.

500ml can. Pours dark gold with a medium head. Aroma is sweet, some corn and rubber. Taste is quite gassy, a little corn. Nothing much at all really.

Rather malty. Alcoholic sweetness without a significant burn. Flat to barely any carbonation.

Can. Aroma is faintmalt, spices and hops. Flavour has a little touch of cheap imp pils, caramel, sugar and malt. Not too bad.
