Perla Mocna is a high quality beer traditionally brewed with very deep aroma. The long fermentation process and storing period are guarantees of great flavor. The recipe that is strictly protected by our brewers is prepared especially for the real beer drinkers.

Musty, funky malt aroma, like old gym socks. Deep golden body with small white creamy head, lots of carbonation. Taste is initially malt followed by some stinky soft cheese. Finish is mostly yeast, cooked vegetables and funk.

500ml can. Sweet pale golden beer with barely any condition. Rather watery texture and absolutely no awareness of the 7.6% abv. Moderate powdery hop bitterness late in the finish. Itís inoffensive, and the honey sweetness is attractive. Itís also very cheap at around £1.08 a can from my local corner supermarket. You can drink this, folks. Knock a few back, and youíll get drunk. Cheap legal high.

Clear golden with good sized white head. Sweet malts, some cardboard and light fruits. Medium bodied, average carbonation. Meh

Can from somewhere in the North. Sweet tasting light golden ale, no head. Itís nowhere near as strong tasting as its alcohol percentage suggest it should be, in fact it just tastes like ordinary low-grade Polish lager.

50cl can from my local Londis. Straw with a thin white head; grainy aroma; sweet grainy taste; with a dry grassy bitterness, and a slightly metallic aftertaste. A fairly standard Polish import.

500 ml. can @ home. Procured from Anna Maria in Antwerp. BBF 23/01/2014. Ah, another Pale Lager from Poland, my 10th! (I checked). He Polish Pale lagers were some of the first beers I ticked, this is a total nostalgia tick for me, they were not that good back then as well :) Crystal-clear pale apple golden with a frothy & soapy collapsing head. Grainy nose, slightly sweet, faint candy, sugary & bready, light smell & actually okay. Taste is sweet grains, light candy, soap, slightly boozy, corn cookies, odd soap, cleaning agents + grain alcohol (manageable level) aftertaste. High carb. Body feels too oddly thick for me esp. for the style. The cleaning agents & soap flavours are too dominant for me but for the style this is actually okay.

Can shared at the ChrisO Flags of Many Nations Easter Tasting 2013 - London. Pours clear yellow with a fine white cream head. Sugary pale, bready malt nose with light honey. Medium to big sweet flavor with lightly papery dough malts, white sugar. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Somewhat creamy, in fact. Sweet, pale white bread to finish. Very simple, lots of white bread, dough and hay, but enjoyable in its simplicity.

Can bought in Leuven. Clear amber-golden colour with low head and medium to smooth body. Nose of malt and hops. Taste of dusty ripe hops, aged grains, straw, leaves, burnt toast and hay. Very dry finish with floral hints. Solid strong pils but it just ainít something special at all.

Can at Chriso Easter "Flags of many nations" Tasting, 31/03/13 thanks to Leighton for this one. Clear pale golden with a thin white head that clears edgewards leaving a thin film. Nose is pale malt, light citrus, grass, a metallic tang about it. Taste follows, light caramel, sugars, pale malt. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation. PAP !
