COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
(wrote on the bottle)

Seriously think I have tasted a different beer to other reviews, as this is one of the better French beers I have tasted. It is also definitely not a fruit beer, as styled (although does have rind added to the wort, as with many Belgian/French beers). Pours a cloudy ruby with a decent creamy head but not much lacing. Nose: malt and hoppy fruits - tropical - and a bit of grass Mouth: first up is the biscuity caramel malt, opens up to nice tropical and citrus fruits; limited sweetness and a good balance with the bittering hops. Carbonation perfect for the style. In short, this is a correcting review. I generally find ratebeer very good (I have reviewed on other sites, brew beer and have lived in Belgium for 10 years, so I have an ok palate) but this is a misleading review. Beer in France is usually terrible but this is a really decent beer - I would put it in my top 5 French beers. Santé!

Draught at La Fine Mousse, Paris
Hazy dark amber color with some red reflex. Delicate aroma of malt and spices. The flavor is a bit more vulgar, some dry caramel and malt with a dusty note, ending with darker caramelized sugars; correct bitterness. It doesn’t really show the promised fruity ingredients or the vanilla.
