The head is medium, the body amber. It smells pilsener malty, hoppy, fruity-hoppy a bit flowery. The taste is very aromatic hoppy, a bit bitter, hoppy-grassy, interesting! In the aftertaste first a bit bitter then more aromatic NIce Strisselspalter! 11/12/11/12/10/12

Bottled at La Fine Mousse, Paris. Hazy golden, small head. Herbal hop aroma. Mid dry with evident crystal malt character and clean mouthfeel. Spicy hops lead to a quite bitter finish. Modern style lager, with primitive malt and plenty of hops.

Bottle at Carrboro Bev. Thanks for sharing, Evan! Bright straw golden with a fizzy white head and lace. Nose is toasty malt, grassy hops-similar flavor. Super easy drinking and sessionable but unfortunately a little too pricey to be a reg.

Small white head, fed by lively carbonated, darker metallic yellow-golden beer. Toasted and pilsner malts; but generally very demure nose. Rather harsh-bitter rounded, quite malty taste. Sweetness remains hidden, however lurking beneath. Herbal, weed-like bitterness - I fear indifferent bittering hops, as Strisselspalt. Touch of pineapple flavour. Very spritzy, even fizzy, light to medium bodied, bit slick. Average bottom-fermenting beer. Many thanks to Stef!

(bottle, 33cl, as Artzner Perle, with thanks to Quack-Duck) Clear, golden colour with a short foamy white head. Sweet and butter, slightly bready malty aroma with a tinge of hops in the background. Mildly sweet and bitter flavour, medium to light bodied with a calm and well-matured carbonation. Buttery malty taste, almost with Bohemian character; medium-dry buttery malty and slightly herbal and woody hoppy finish with a good length. Superb and a nice surprise. 20.X.10

Bottle from @ mondial de la bičre. A clear amber-golden pils with medium head. Smell is hoppy and lager kind of. Aroma is on malt with low caramel notes, quite hopy, specially on alsacian hops like strisselspalts. Not bed beer should just have a little more body. This beer has the same recipe as the old Peal beer that was existing last century.
