2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Bottled. A golden beer with a thin white head. The aroma is sweet with skunky notes of malt. The flavor is sweet with skunky notes as if brewing cereal has been used, leading to a dry bitter finish.

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Bottled (4.7%). Colour is yellow, with mediumsized white head, leaves some lace. Aroma is salts, hay and slight grass. Flavour is very hoppy along with some malty and slight grassy notes. Surprisingly good for being a beer from Lidl.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle in Pravets - picked up at a Lidl in Gabrovo, Bulgaria. Pours completely clear pale yellow with a mellow, creamy white head. A little bit of skunky veg in the nose, some crispy cereal, biscuit. Light sweet flavor, somewhat dry, with more crisp cereal rains, a little bitter hay, floral hops, mild grass, white sugar, pale bread. Light in body with average, massaging carbonation. Crisp, fairly dry and mildly clean on the finish, with further lightly sugary cereal, just a hint of losse leaf paper, pale bread, biscuit, faint grass and straw. Very drinkable stuff.

2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
500ml bottles from Lidl. My god I’m desperate for a rate. Well not really, I had a curry in the fridge and I just wanted a half decent pils to drink with it. Pale gold, thin white head. No bad flavours or cardboard on aroma, but not much else either. Very light in the malts in the mouth. Some lemon and some sting on the finish. It’s an ok pale lager. Just needs, well more aroma, more flavour.

1.9 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20
Bottled. (4,7% ABV) Clear, pale golden with an acceptable white head. Grainy aroma with hay and a slight fruity note. Thin body and flavors of grain and hay. A boring beer that finishes with a little grain and hop-notes. It’s quite sessionable, but dead boring. (070402)
