This Lidl pils is very interesting and reliable new friend. In the beginning you dont find anything special, but It is really difficult to find a beer with this good hop taste. It is there whenever you need it, but it never disturb you. Good foam - works nicely in mouth. This is definitely a very reliable choice after sauna. I never let you down.

F: big, snow-white, average retention. C: gold, clear. A: malty, hint of caramel, grassy, grain, bread, hop extract. T: malty, grainy, corn, light grassy, dull bitterness on the palate, hint of metallic, I was looking in the net but no found where it is brewing as it is not in products of Frankfurter Brauhaus (TCB Beverages), not good but no expectation from cheap lager of almost no-name brewery from Lidl, light body, normal carbonation, 0,5l can from Lidl @ Etterbeek, Brussels.

Clear light yellow, white little alcing foam head. Typical pilsener aroma and taste, not the best but OK. (Velp 201610)

CAN 50 CL from Lidl Iași. Clear yellow, white head. Subtle pale malts and moderate soft grassy finish. Perfectly clean. A very well done industrial pils.

Dorée claire à peine voilée, peu effervescente, première bouche légèrement douce puis finale maltée et un peu sèche. Pas folichon mais plutôt décente finalement. Bouteille 50cl chez Lidl, évidemment, bue le 25/08/2016.

On vacation in Eifel. Clear goldblond colored beer with small white head and lots of carbonation visible. Herby hopped aroma. Full sparkling palate. Finish is sweet bitter.

Bottle, 0.5l. Pours clear golden body with small, short lasting white head. Classic lager smell, malts, yeast, metallic. Thin body, heavily carbonated. Watery. Usual metallic bitter taste. Aroma is pretty much the same - malts, yeast, corn, grains. Metallic aftertaste. Just imagine your usual macro lager - this is pretty much it. Couldn’t finish a bottle.

Can from Lidl. Little aroma to speak of. Tastes a lot stronger than the percentage. A passable pils, was very cheap and you get what you pay for.
