2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
500 ml bottle. 5.7%. BB 11/03/14. From Cuso. Díky!
Hazy light brown colour with a tiny off-white head.
Caramel sweetness, malt and mild floral hops in the aroma. Rather weak. The flavour is floral and piney hops, mild bitterness, caramel malt and some... wait, maybe the bitterness is a bit stronger... yes it is. After the tasty PAPA I was expecting a firework of flavours. Well, this is English style IPA so the flavour is very much restrained... very much English. Don’t get me wrong... I’m not saying everything should be extravagant American double-triple hopped... Sweet, malty and mild in hops. Mild bitterness in the aftertaste.

Small headed light brown body. Nice hop mix, not overly fresh but I dig it. Cereal, rye and astringent body, but not bad at all. Long very bitter ending. Nice beer, different than what I expected. (50cl bottle from Beer City, shared with Bertanne)

3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
50cl bottle from trade with motelpogo and mowbeer: na zradví, lads! Pretty much chalky-contained aroma, not betraying much of an IPA aroma. In terms of mouthfeel as pleasant and chewy as any nefiltrovano CZ pivo, with dry roast coming in, and a coriander, mint and nettle hop bouquet with a lingering pine & white citrus rind finish. Another interesting CZ-US transatlantic crossover stuck halfway.
