Svrchně kvašené pivo, původně vařené v anglii. Vyšší počet chmelení a vyšší obsah alkoholu napomáhá jeho delší trvanlivosti, která byla potřebná pro dlouhé námořní cesty do vzdálených anglických kolonií.

ClubGonzo (4897) - Bergen, NORWAY - APR 7, 2014
Bottle from Pivoteka Beergeek, Prague, shared with BBGTC. Pours a hazy orange body with a small white head. Nose is rose water, butterscotch, wine gum, straw, grass and hints of pale malts. Taste is grass, wine gum, butterscotch, straw, pale malts and hints of bread and caramel. Medium body and carbonation. Fair enough, but nothing special is going on here.

From 0,5l bottle, BBD: 11.03.14 App: Pours cloudy orange amber liquid, small frothy white head. Aroma: floral, sweat, exotic fruits, citrus. Taste: light sweet, heavy bitter. Hops, malty, citrus. Pal: medium body, sticky texture, lively carbonation, long pleasant bitter finish. Overall nice straight IPA. Aroma more complex than taste (dry hopping), malty, very good, nothing too extravagant, very drinkable.

50cl bottle from trade with motelpogo and mowbeer: na zradví, lads! Pretty much chalky-contained aroma, not betraying much of an IPA aroma. In terms of mouthfeel as pleasant and chewy as any nefiltrovano CZ pivo, with dry roast coming in, and a coriander, mint and nettle hop bouquet with a lingering pine & white citrus rind finish. Another interesting CZ-US transatlantic crossover stuck halfway.

Draught at Man in The Moon, Stockholm. <i/> Cloudy amber, mif sized hesd. Tiger balm aroma. Mid sweet with medium body and spritzy mouthfeel. Sassafras with notes of grapefruit and rubber. Marked bitter finish. Weird...

Bottled. Dark amber hazy and cloud body with a creamy white foam, not very stable. Not very flamoyant, but proper aroma, classic for IPA - slight hop tones, some malts, herbs, a bit of fruit and citruses, liked it. Tastes rather bitter (almost heavy bitter) with a slight feeling of sour in the beginning. Oily texture, soft carbonation, long and very hoppy finish. Nice try, but far away of the ideal image of IPA. But not so bad, really.

500 ml. bottle split by 2 @ Delirium Cave. BBF 14/11/2013 (mmm….). Pours a clear amber with a creamy, lasting off-white head (or as well as I can tell in a basement). Nose is pretty hoppy with lots of grass, very floral character, nettles, wild green plants coupled with some caramel malts & candy sugar sweetness. Taste is pretty drying, bitter raw & floral hops, nettles, lots of hops going into mild, toffee, caramel malts & candy sugar sweetness with a lingering bitter finish. Good carb. & easy to drink. Very different from the typical USA profile which is great, easy to drink, lovely beer which every one liked. Expected to see higher scores on here.

teddybeer (2930) - Madrid, SPAIN - DEC 1, 2013
[Thanks to MisoW]. Bottled. Orangish colour with a light beige head that quickly diminishes. Aroma has notes of floral hops, light citrus and sweet caramel. Flavos is moderate bittery but not astringent, floral notes with a moderate maltiness. The final is mild bittery with medium to high duration.
