Svrchně kvašené pivo, původně vařené v anglii. Vyšší počet chmelení a vyšší obsah alkoholu napomáhá jeho delší trvanlivosti, která byla potřebná pro dlouhé námořní cesty do vzdálených anglických kolonií.

500 ml. bottle split by 2 @ Delirium Cave. BBF 14/11/2013 (mmm….). Pours a clear amber with a creamy, lasting off-white head (or as well as I can tell in a basement). Nose is pretty hoppy with lots of grass, very floral character, nettles, wild green plants coupled with some caramel malts & candy sugar sweetness. Taste is pretty drying, bitter raw & floral hops, nettles, lots of hops going into mild, toffee, caramel malts & candy sugar sweetness with a lingering bitter finish. Good carb. & easy to drink. Very different from the typical USA profile which is great, easy to drink, lovely beer which every one liked. Expected to see higher scores on here.

Bottle: Thanks Cuso: Nice label: Served in a Chouffe glass: Medium sized creamy foamy head on top of a clear amber orange colored beer. Aromas of floral, nettle, malts, plants, some slight hop tones, grains, herbs, leaves, hay and some malty bark. Flavours of hops, plants, floral tones, bitters, hint of citrus, more grapefruit, hay, some grass, lesser grains, some malts and leaves. Aftertaste is a mix of bitters, grass, plants, hay, floral and herbal tones and a slight hint of something hoppy. Low carbo, creamy mouthfeel, good medium body and a creamy texture.

[Thanks to MisoW]. Bottled. Orangish colour with a light beige head that quickly diminishes. Aroma has notes of floral hops, light citrus and sweet caramel. Flavos is moderate bittery but not astringent, floral notes with a moderate maltiness. The final is mild bittery with medium to high duration.

Small off-white head, soon reduced to rim; lazily carbonated foxy copper beer. Rather sweetish, even caramelly nose; discreet flowery and (passion)fruity hops. Bitterish flavour; something mineral/fishy (in a nice way). Citrussy and again passionfruit-like hopflavours arriving later. Caramel - without sweetness - lurking in the background. Despite the visual absence, at titillating carbonation and feel, at the verge of sourishness. Arrives at medium body, slick. Pleasant, likeable beer (after a few sips), but hardly more American than a Spartak Prague fan singing "Oh when the Saints..."

Poured an orange/amber with a big frothy head. Aroma of zesty citrus and floral hops over soft malt. Medium body, flavour of the aroma, bitter orange. Nice and refreshing.

What a surprise! Great Slovak IPA. The only drawback is the minimal head. Pleasant bitter finish!

Appearance: Clear deep golden color with a white head that ends up in a small layer. Ok lacing.
Aroma: Malty and grape hoppy.
Palate: Medium + body. Slightly sweet and a nice bitterness. Average carbonation.
Taste: Solid malty, fruity and a lovely hoppy backbone.
Overall impression: Nice tasty Slovak IPA.
Personal stats: Bottle from a trade with Cuso.
