Hazy hay-yellow body with white big head. Aroma has sweet lemon, caramel, hay, gumboot, apple, spices, coriander, dusty malts. Taste has sweet malts, lemon, bread, mild caramel, dusty malts, banana notes (not ripe) - leading to a finish with white bread, malts and hay. Slightly flourish on palate, normal body. Fresh decent hefe. [50cl.btl 5%abv BB180716 #V595]

Tap at Fach. Pale straw color, only slightly hazed, big white head, not lasting. Only little typical aroma, metallic accent. Light-medium body, high carbonation. Refreshing, but not weizen feeling.

500ml Bottle from Coppers, Gosforth, Ł1.89. This was incredibly lively out of the bottle, spewing everywhere the moment I cracked the lid. I ended up losing about 25% of the contents. What was left was a cloudy, yellowish amber beer with a big, foamy, white head. It smells like a classic wheat beer, with wheat, fruity banana esters and something vaguely herbal detectable. The taste is initially soft and sweet as ripe, sugary fruits come to the fore, but later on sharper citric and even slightly sour apple and pear character comes in. It remains lively on the palate throughout. Good, complex hefeweizen.

Bottle from Coppers, Newcastle. Cloudy pale straw coloured with a huge head of foam that exploded out of the bottle. It has a sweet lemon, vanilla, malty and earthy flavour with grassy notes and slight bubblegum on the creamy finish. Pretty Nice.

A nice one for sure. Starting off a bit wheat and yome yeast then putting some fruits into it with a even a bit of hops in the back. Slightly bitter end which is quite unusual for a Weizen.
