From 0.5l bottle, BBD: 14.08.2014. Pours perfectly dark brown to black liquid (not a single ray of light passes through), nice medium frothy stable tan head, Aroma: dark chocolate, espresso, malty, milk chocolate, condensed milk, Taste: medium sweet, medium bitter, dry finish, espresso, chocolate, Palate: light to medium body, oily to creamy texture, soft to flat carbonation, long bitter roasted dry finish. Overall: very good stout, could have smaller head, less sweet starting, little bit more complex body, less watery body and little bit more carbonation.

Bottle. A black one, topped by a dense, finger-thick beige head. The aroma is pretty boring, weak, with roasted malts and some dried fruits. Some coffee in the flavor, with roasted malts, dark chocolate notes and some vegetable notes. Medium body, soft carbonation, quite dry on the palate. Lasting roasted finish. Looks great this one, but the aroma and flavor isn’t much interesting. 140608

Bottle shared with McTapps. Interesting, quite dry and easy going stout with some sour moments at the end. Rye with roasted malt and a sniff of chicken stock. Not a bad one.

Bottle from Cuso - thank you a lot, Imro! The stout pours out in a deep black colour with low head and smooth body. Aroma of chocolate and malt. Taste of roasted malt, chocolate, coffee, torf, straw and woods. Earthy finish. Smooth and nice to drink with a certain dryness in the palate. Nice one.

(bottle, courtesy of motelpogo) Dark brown colour with a brown medium-sized foamy head. Moderately roasted malty aroma with slightly sour-fruity notes of blueberries, accompanied by hints of chocolate, marzipan and espresso. Moderately roasty bitter and delicately sour flavour, light bodied with a modest carbonation. Moderately roasted and slightly earthy malt character with notes of dark chocolate, dry mouthfeel; roasty bitter and subtle fruity finish with notes of chocolate and liquorice in the aftertaste. A tad slim, but nevertheless enjoyable. 01.III.14
