Draught. Clear dark brown in colour with a medium sized beige head on its top. Smell of butter and brown sugar. Malty aroma ruled by brown sugar and butter underpainted by mild coffee, mouthfeel is slick to oily. Sweetbitter, mild roasty finish. Pleasant.

500ml bottle (Regalia, Tallinn)
Dull sweetish aroma, a touch savoury, there’s some stinky aspect too later, drains, perhaps? Flattish palate, soft carbonation. Sticky, heavy, dull, sweet, a touch savoury, not quite bovrilly. Fairly nice dark red, but a very brief head. Again it’s dull and sticky, a bit messy. I don’t like it.The best thing about the finish is that I no longer have to taste the taste. It does last a while, it’s dull, sticky, a touch astringent, and basically a mess.

0,5l bottle as "Pernstejn Granat 13" (the barcode is same). Dark mahagony color. Small off-white head. Creamy, raspberry, metallic aroma. Aroma overall is weak. Sweet malty, buttery, caramel in flavor. Nice fruity plums in aftertaste. Bit watery texture, but this makes it very easy to drink.

abemorsten (2767) - Mosterřy, NORWAY - DEC 13, 2010
Shared bottle courtesy of gunnar. Clear amber with a tanned film leaving good lacing. Dried dark fruits, toasted malts and raisins in the aroma. Sweet and bitter flavors in a medium bodied, gently carbonated and well balanced drink leaving more of the roasted notes on the tongue. Finishes dry.

Bottle, kindly shared by gunnar. ABV 5.7%. Dark redddish brown colour, moderate beige head. Strong malty aroma, notes of caramel, bakery and prunes. Very malty flavour, also vinous notes, prunes. A tasty and interesting beer.
