2.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
From a 500 ml. euro brown bottle with no freshness date.
Poured a hazy copperish amber with a foamy head that quickly settled into a fine lacing.
Aromas of sweet breads with a touch of honey, spicy and a bit grassy.
Low carbonation and barely crisp, watery smooth medium bodied mouthfeel, for me, the carbonation is too low.
Sweet bready and honey malt taste, some metallic qualities as well, watery spicy hop with hints of grassiness and dryish watery spicy and sweet malty finish. The drinkability is pretty average at best.
There was no freshness date on the bottle, but I am wondering if this was past it’s best before date.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pouring a deep golden body with a large bubbled head that vanishes rapidly, this has a sweet malt, worty like aroma. Thick mouthfeel. The flavor is bready and sweet with a very light grassy hopping. Sweet sticky finish. Drinkable.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Medium golden. Moderately bready malt aroma, kiss of hops, traces of cardboard. Light to medium bodied, medium bitterness, little in the way of late hops. Sweet finish with a very light hoppiness. Another mediocre czech pils.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Toasted malts, citrus, herbal hops and some some floral notes in the aroma. Clear golden coloured body with a low but lasting white head that recedes with some lacing. Very soft, doughy, toasty malt character with floral, herbal, minty hop flavours and fair finishing bitterness. Light-medium body with moderate carbonation that is moderately engaging and effervescent. Simple, straight-forward and very tasty. Bottle (BB141005) sampled with MartinT, Olivier_MTL and Rastacouere.

1.5 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
Urine color with fleeting off-white head. Lots of particles floating in gentle carbonation.Malty and hoppy with a touch of apple. Weak and watery. Flavor and aroma were unpleasant but not in the sense that the bottle was skunked.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Clear golden hue shows only a small fading white head, a state which contrasts with the goodness of this product. A pleasant pils malt display that procures the toasted notes I look for in the style without spare. Hay and straw like, fresh, grassy, floral, herbal. This feels pretty much like a textbook version. Despite the heavy filtering, the yeast can’t be overshadowed completely and leaves a doughy signature that procures some depth to this otherwise unpretentious beer. Great mouthfeel, the small bubbles make for a crisp and engaging carbonation despite the global thinness. Simple, refreshing and authentic example that does everything right, but nothing grand.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Toasted malts proliferate into fresh bread crusts and earth. Straightforward, nearly hopless, but some quality extraction must reside within.
As suggested in the aroma, toasted malts are indeed luxurious, and trail off into enticing dryness and earthiness. Finishes softly, with a brushing hop bitterness. Some mineral nature to it, but diluted into the able maltiness.
A fresh baguette won’t stir the senses too much, but it will definitely waken the stomach.

1.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 3/20
Poured a fairly rich golden color with a durable head and a nondeScript malty aroma. Light bodied with a thin sweet caramely flavor and a not too beerlike bitterness. No bottling date info-approach with caution.
