On draught at Hard Rock Cafe in Roma. Clear reddish-amber color with a thin off-white head that dissipates quickly to an outer ring. Short strings of lacing. Aroma of malt, caramel and slight hops. Light-bodied with flavors of sweet caramel malt and mild floral hops. The finish is sweet with a short malty aftertaste. Average overall.

500ml bottle into shaker. Sweet malt nose, notes of milk chocolate and caramel. Deep orange/bronze beer with two finger foamy tan head. Carbonation is lively with fine bubbles. Mouthfeel is flat with initial bitterness. Finish is cleansing with a slight touch of bitterness followed by late late caramel. Great example of the style. Excellent bottle too!

50cl bottle, clear amber color, medium off white head, light caramel aroma with some hops, light hoppy flavor, light body, clean finish, nothing special. Passi un po’ di marketing ma a leggere "altissima qualità" nella descrizione uno si aspetterebbe altro...

This gran riserva is not all that gran. Some sweet fruit and caramel malt but pretty blah.

Bottle at a cafe for lunch while in Rome. Overall a pretty decent amber lager, with sweet malts and smooth lager yeast notes. Nothing particularly special here, but I wouldn’t turn one down if offered.

Bottle from COOP in Colle di val d’Elsa. The beer is amber colored and pours a stable cream colored head, with nice carbonation. The aroma is fruity and sweet, with tones of caramel, dark fruits and in the background some roasted malts. The taste is light bodied and light sweet, with tones from the aroma. Further quiet watery texture. The finish is a little dry, light bitter and long. Better than the average beer in Italy, but the bottle (prosecco like) was nicer than the beer.

Couleur ambrée, légère mousse beige. Nez malté, caramalt. Gout malté avec caramalt, note noisette et papier. Corps moyen. Légère amertume en fin de bouche. Moyenne pour le style

Bottle from Familia supermarket, Castelnuovo del Garda, Italy. This is a bright red-brown coloured beer that pours with a thin head of white foam. It has a rich malty and red fruity flavour with chocolate notes and a creamy fruity and slightly rough bitter finish.
