COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
An excellent beer emerges from the great Peroni tradition - PERONI GRAN RISERVA. A prestigious clear double malt beer with an alcohol content of 6.6%: this beer is the result of a careful, scrupulous selection of the most noble qualities of aromatic hops, yeast and a spring variety of distichous barley named "cherie". Ingredients are chosen with great attention and the experience of long-standing brewers.

330 ml bottle - Darn orange amber appearance with frothy head which disappears almost instantly. Barley taste which bitters in the palate.

When is poured on the glass it looks beautiful, dark yellow beer with a lovely white head, unfortunately it’s not long lasting. The aroma has some malt notes, but the alcohol is felt even when is smelled. The flavor is quite dry, but dissapointing, because the alcohol level is not well balanced making it taste like a strong beer but at the same time really simple.

Slightly hazy with a touch of darker blond. Pretty big head. Aroma is grainy and a little bit fruity. Taste is alcoholic and malty, towards the low end of euro strong lager, rather than the dortmunder I’d once read that it was.

Backlog. Slightly better than it’s more mass-produced little brother, tried this with pizza and it was OK.

Light clear yellow body with thin white head. Very light baked aromas. Light barley taste and no hops or bitterness. May be ok with a hot pizza but that s it. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a clear golden with a fine white head.
Nose is very grainy, wet cardboard, slight floral hop note.
Taste is actually pretty surprising. Obviously you expect a regular bland lager, but the attack is fairly malty and carmely, there’s a bit of orange sweetness in there, and the finish is a classic crisp, cardboardy lager finish.
Not as bad as I was expecting. Nothing to write home about, but better than your average Peroni for sure.

0,3l Flasche. Goldenes Bockbier, Schaum war sofort weg. Etwas malzig nach alkohol schmeckend. Nichts besonderes.

Bottle tesco. Pours a v light clear amber colour head shortlived to nothing. Aroma is strong sweet malts. Taste is caramel malts great sweet finish trace of hops. Medium carbonation and body. This is good drink despite the £2 per half pint price tag!
