2.1 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
A very light beer. I had it in venice Italy. One of the only italian beers you can find all throughout italy. Tastes cheep and light though....not a great brew.

1.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 6/20
(Bottled) Very pale golden color with a medium, quickly fading head. Grassy-hoppy, reasonably crisp but harsh aroma with corny, acidic malt hints. Sweetish, honey-corny-malty, moderately acidic flavor with some dryish, grassy hops in the finish. Light-bodied, acidic and almost watery palate. A thin, harsh and acidic, cheap and boring bulk lager. Never again...

1.9 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
This reminds me of a generic boring beer. The one you buy in cases, and drink with pizza. It’s nothing out of the ordinary, but i guess it compares to other beers of its kind, like heineken, tuborg green, carlsberg hof , and the like.
It would be a nice companion when at the beach or after hard work, but it is not something you would admire like good wine.
In Denmark it is way cheaper to just go get a tuborg green or carlsberg hof, or royal green or whatever - the taste is practically indifferent.
I gues they wanted to make it this way, and given that "want to make generic boring beer" they have succeded. It’s a good generic boring beer. Nobody will be scared.
If it’s the cheapest on the shelf, go get it. It is at least as good as the other boring ones out there.
I will get back to this rating when i have lined up a bunch of these boring beers. They have to be sampled in the same run to even figure what’s the difference.

1.4 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
Bottled. Barely any colour at all to this beer which has no lace or head either, just a greeny white appearance. The aroma is grassy and lager snatch. The taste is sweet and a bit sickly. Dull and uninteresting.

2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Bottle - Had at an Olive Garden. Poured a watery golden yellow similar to that of an AB beer. Tasted skunk green like a Heineken. Would have been really good with a pizza, but I didn’t order a pizza.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
UPDATED: MAY 26, 2006 (Bottled) Colour is straw yellow, with foamy white head. Nose is malty, dominated by bread and cereal, with distant traces of hops evident. Taste is rather neutral, crisp and clear maltiness, slight sweetness that turns drier towards the finish, traces of hops (but merely traces). Light to medium body, ok mouthfeel, easy to drink. Nothing wrong with it, just plain boring.

1.3 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 3/20
660ml bottle. Why do companies sell themselves on their tradition/age? It doesn’t necessarily follow that the tradition is any good! Another beer that has become trendy with the same breed of person that likes to be seen/is fooled by the "novelty" of drinking Corona or Tiger or San Miguel (atleast in the UK).
(edit) Infact, this is one of the weakest/ most watery beers i’ve ever tasted, minus another .1.
Illusionary head, pale in colour, slightly sweet and flat, overall very watery and bland, thin body. A "nothing" beer.

1.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 5/20
Clear golden-yellow with minimal head that fizzes away quickly. Skunky aroma and taste, as to be expected with green bottled beer. A little malt sweetness comes through in the thin body. I have yet to find an Italian brew that’s worthwhile.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
From the bottle at Macaroni Grill in Frederick, MD. Has a skunky taste common of beers in green bottles. In that way it tastes a lot like a Heinekin. That also means it is nothing special. I will drink these when I visit Italy, but I will stick with something else stateside. Plus, I am sure that there are plenty of other better options in Italy as well.
