It is very clear and sparkling. The aroma is pretty slight and sweet. It mostly smells like adjuncts with a little juicy wooden hops. There is almost a touch of brown sugar in the nose. The beer feels light but not watery. There is a little prickle on the tongue at the swallow. Not bad. There are not enough hops to cover the skunk, but they are detectable. Corn and lemon and fiberboard are three things that come to mind. If Steam Whistle went skunky, it could taste like this. If you took the malt out of a Bedele, it could taste like this. My people call this maize. I’d like to run this against a Heineken. Is this skunked or is this on purpose? Is this fermented polenta? emobassfoo (178), Webster, New York, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Nov 3, 2007 Rated while drinking: Pours an unmistakable crystal clear flax color with a big fluffy white head that’s slowly diminishing as I type. Not much lacing, but the head retains its consistency. Very skunky bottle smell hits at first, but underneath is a faint hop aroma. Tastes like water, but a tad bit of sweet malts and pleasant hops kick in after the swallow. Very faint and subtle altogether, but it’s pretty refreshing. Watery but hops add a bit of bitterness. Not worth the cost, but it’s very accessible; so maybe for a family party? alobar (1056), Harleysville, Pennsylvania, USA

Taste is right up there with Rolling Rock. Not a good choice on my part. BelgianBeerGal (1331), Sabbatical in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA

If you must drink Italian beer, pick something besides this Miller clone. BeerBiker (1392), Kathmandu, Nepal

| 1.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 6/20 | Oct 6, 2007 Bottle. Thin big-bubbled coarse dying white head over a heavily carbonatied clear pale yellow golden body. Well cooked vegetables to the nose. A low malt level, a low hop level, and an unfresh mouthfeel make this a highly forgetable beer.
