Aroma = skunk and rotting corn. It has a bit of sweetness that isn’t nauseating and papery hops. Plenty of corn and sour, skunky notes make up the rest of the flavor, the finish hints at fuel. Why the hell pay the extra dollar for the same old rehashed crap with which our American market is flooded?

A big no thanks to the bastard who left this in my fridge. I thought I could plug my nose and chug this one down. WRONG!!! I poured a little out of the bottle which instantly battered my nostrils with foul skunk. This is one ugly beer. It is so crystal clear with a puffy white head. It looks like soap water. Oh God, the aroma. The stench is so painfully offensive, so excruciating. It smells exactly like skunk spray, pencil erasers, overheating brakes, and condoms, basically items that I would never consider eating or drinking. This is just so repulsing. The flavor is somewhat forgiving with a sweet vegetal note amid the rubber and skunk onslaught. This is utter trash. kopestes (164), Braine l’Alleud, Belgium

In country of vine you can’t really expect much from a beer. Pale yellow with white head. Bit bitter taste of hops. Common weak lager. SHIG (2051), Aviano, Italy

Azzurro’s aroma is dominated by noble hops. Flavour is crisp & dry w/ a subtle maltiness. biznizness (959), Mooresville, North Carolina, USA
| 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Oct 8, 2006 Um, bad. I guess they use the term "premium lager" loosely. Pretty much the Italian version of crappy macro brewed beer. billk (300), Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Oct 7, 2006 bottle 12 oz. decent American/pils style lager without that crappy stale cornflake cereal taste. Clean, with a nice tart nip. Pushing med bodied. Slight malt sweetness but basically dry, balanced well with mild hop flavor & nice hop bitterness. Wouldn’t hesitate to drink this again. | 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Oct 1, 2006 Not a bad effort from the Italians. Crystal clear, bright gold beer combining the malty softness of a lager with the crisp biitterness of a Pilsener. Finishes with a definite punch of dry hops.
