Bitter, strong flavour with a bit of bite. The hops have a distinct flavour and there is a tad of sweetness which is overpowered by the hops. cheers

UPDATED: MAR 4, 2004 This was definately a lager with a difference. Wasn't quite as sweet as others i've sampled in my time, yet made it up with a very smooth bite that seems to linger a bit. I enjoyed it a fair bit you could say.

Very light, flaxen colour. Spritzy, light head, stark white. Slightly overcarbonated, but it was bottled, so who knows. Sweet floral nose. Grassy hops (very distinctive), nice bitterness. Middling sweet malt note. Gentle, crisp mouthfeel. No skunk in any of the bottles, and they're all green. Guess I was lucky.

crisp hoppy aroma, pale golden in colour with a frothy head, mildly hopped flavour with a bitterish finish, not as bad as I was expecting.

Pale golden, bubbly small head. Weak aroma with some faint hop notes. Skunky, sweet and fruity with some sharp breadiness and carbonation. Watery finish.

Golden, with a quickly disappearing head. Weak aroma that brings some yeast. Flavor is alittle bready and yeasty, some bitterness in the finish.

Light blond color (dirty water). Fish nose! Decent taste, with a quite sharp bitterness, as many Italian lagers. Too bad for the aroma...

Kåstå (1274) - Mol, BELGIUM - JUL 30, 2003
Blond with a small head. Hop aroma. Light bitter hoppy taste. A slightly sweet tone in the finish. A typical Italian beer, well no, I would say a bit better than average.

Delicate hop aroma. Clean gold colour. Minimal head after 1 minute. Balanced and sparkling light pilsener. Nothing special but decent enough.

Pale straw yellow colour with hint of green or maybe that was the reflection from the nearby bottle. Very faint skunky aroma fading to a thing soapy something. Soda watery thin body - not good with real italian food except for perhaps thin crust pizza on a hot day after a spot of lawn mowing.
