Brewed from the finest spring planted barley malts, has a unique balanced taste with a delicate aroma arising from the hops of the most exclusive varieties. Young, balanced and sparkling, Nastro Azzurro is the beer for the knowledgeable and demanding consumer.

12 ounce bottle poured into a water glass at the Macaroni Grill in Edina. Pale golden with a thin head. Very little aroma. Sharp and crisp like many other lagers with just a touch of malt. Reminds me of Heineken.

Thanks to JK for sharing. Massive carbonation on this very pale yellow colored beer. Faint head. Aroma of faint floral hops. Faint nondeScript body.

I tried this at Smokeless Joe’s in Toronto on June 25, 2007. This was poured by the waitress into a Unibroue glass. It poured very clear with little head. When held up against the light it was a very pale yellow. The aroma was weak with some floral hints. It was very harsh on the tongue with a fair bit of carbonation. The taste was very bitter which surprised me from a pale lager. Not a beer I will try again anytime soon.

Bottle. Yet another golden lager with white head. Dry maltiness and some hops. A standard lager, you know what you get from this beer. Slightly better than the other two I tried in Italy.

Small bottle shared by JK, pours a light golden blonde brew with an average white head that quickly dissolves to a fine white ring. Aroma of funky multi-grain malt, corn, and grassy hops. Taste is rather bland, or of typical macro-brewery product of highly carbonation, high acidic and slight bitter aftertaste. Finish is clean crisp and hardly any aftertaste.

(bottle in Dublin) Pale gold with rapidly fading white head. Faint malty aroma. Flavor is mild lager, reasonably crisp. Went OK with the pizza I had.

Bottle. Poured a golden body with a fizzy head that disapeared almost instantly. Aroma is sweet, malty and yeasty. Flavor is sour malt and sweet mais. The mais is really big, way to big. After half the beer it taste really lot of mais, and it leave an unpleasant aftertaste. Some grassy/hay notes is also there. Palate is thin and dry, with way to much carbonation. A boring and bad beer, it seems like a nice beer if you just look at the bottle but is in reality really bad.
