330ml bottle. Pours very clear golden with a smallish head that settles. Mild sweet aroma. Generic European lager with a bit more sweetness than many. Simple and not unpleasant but no complexity whatsoever.

Really good Italian beer with a pale golden color. Foam is relatively fine and medium long lasting. Smell is quite unintensive. The first taste has a light sweetness. Then come some honey and finally a light bitterness. Recommended for warm summer days. Goes well with cheese.

Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (style 2A). Bottle 33 cl - Batch L5007220. AROMA: initial herbaceous hop aroma that vanishes after a while. faint cereal aroma (corn, rice). APPEARANCE: pale straw color and translucent. white moussy head with average retention. TASTE: moderate cereal flavour (some corn). no hop flavour. medium bitterness with a slight malty, semi-dry and bitter finish. PALATE: light body with moderate carbonation. OVERALL: a typical macro pale lager without much presence.

One of the few Italian beers, but possibly the most available one, with a light color and nice to taste.

Aug 1, 2006 On a hot day on St Martin’s Lane in London this was a light relief. It is quite crisp and goes down well but in the end just a flat, mass-producced beer.

UPDATED: MAY 1, 2015 Pours clear, pale yellow body. Blanched head that dissolves quickly, no noticeable lacing. Some barely and corn aromas with a touch of skunkiness. Relatively bland lager flavor, sweet malt taste stood out. Ample carbonation lends to crisp finish, but still a lower middling lager.

The easist and inconsistent industrial lager. Extremely watery, minimum carbonation. Impossible to identify and distinguish. Good marketing though.

Bottle. Fizzy urine-coloured lager, bland almost non-existent smell, bland taste, finish and palate dominated by fizz. Refreshing if well chilled on a hot day after some hard graft (and you’ve run out of proper beer).

Nothing to recommend this beer. As with so many things Italian, the bottle and the label are nice, but there is not substance.
