A 6 out of 100!? Hopefully I can boost this rating. Pours a straw yellow and smells like your typical pale lager with some sweetness & grain. Light bodied & very sessionable with a crisp afterbite. Very good rounded body with a slight sweetness that goes down easy. Great summer beer and suits the chicken I grilled perfectly. Very clean without any off flavors.

First time sampling this in country of origin, bottles at the Empire Palace Hotel, Rome. Pours light golden with a decent sized frothy white head. Aroma of grain, lemon, yeast and grass. Medium sweetness and light bitterness. Light body, slight oily texture, average carbonation. Clean and crisp on the palate, it’s not bad.

330ml bottle - Aperitif while out for dinner. Slight grainy aroma but that wasi all I could get. Pale straw with residual head. Very mild bitterness with thin body and a touch of cardboard. Uninspiring. Given this and the lack of a decent alternative on the restaurants pedestrian Beer list, I switched to wine to have for my main course.
