Very hoppy and refreshing, solid in 0,25 l "shot" bottles. Not much aroma nor flavour though, just an acceptable pale lager.

Bottle 0.25L. Clear light yellow body with average, frothy, white head, mostly diminishing with fair lacing. Light-to-moderate (grains) and light hoppy (herbal) aroma with notes of vegetables. Light-to-moderate sweet flavour with moderate bitter character. Light body with watery texture; average carbonation.

0,25l Flasche.Goldgelbes Lager, gober Schaum, schmeckt sehr metallisch. Im Endeffekt nur eine kleinere Flaschenvermarktung als das normale Peroni.

Bottle at the Florence Airport. Pours gold with white head. Nice mixed aroma of malt and hp. Flavor is substantial. Balance of malt and grassy/spicy hop. Finishes decently bitter in a somewhat spicy way.

Backlog. Small 250 ml bottle, bought in Italy, drunk at Parga, Greece. into a lager glass. ABV 5% Really bright golden yellow colour on the body, with a tall, white froathy head. Average to low retention, it does leave light lacing behind and a film of foam on the beer’s surface. Refreshing aroma of malts, grass, a bi of cookie dough. Taste is sweet, malty, especially on the aftertaste. Some grass too. Medium thin body, average carbonation. Overall an average one, fancier dressed but the content remains the same.

As for Peroni it is ok. Quite smooth beer and it is good when you lay in Sardegna beach: refreshing, gold and... extremely regular, Hey dude it’s europale lager!

UPDATED: FEB 26, 2014 More or less the same stuff of the usual peroni, with a bit more character. Dry and damn small. It may be good before meals and starters, but during dinner a 0.25 is just ridiculous. This size could be fine for a 9% belgian ale, not for a watery lager.

Bottle@Poggio. Small head. Light yellow clear golden. Faint to none malty notes. Dry sour taste. Short finish.

Pours a golden yellow. Aromas of malts/hops and maybe a hint of some citrus. Nice sweet malt flavor with a hop note at the end.

Bottled, 500ml, at Hotel Gabriella bar, Rome. Pale straw, carbonated white head. A scoop without leaving the hotel, but not much of a beer really. Wet soggy newspaper note over a faint lemony hop and indistinct thin body. It can only get better.
