Commercial Description:
Bottle & can; Filtered.
Ingredients: Water; Barley Malt; Corn grits; Hop pellets; Hop extract.
The original Italian lager. Peroni is the number one lager brand in Italy and has been for over one and a half centuries. This premium, clear, golden-yellow lager, with 4.7 ABV, is the result of the dedication to brewing of generations of the most qualified braumeisters.
Brewed using the finest spring barley malts and hops, its taste is slightly bitter. A refreshing smooth lager, Peroni is suitable for all occasions.

Pale yellow with a white head. Smells grainy with a hint of spicy hops, but not much going on there. Flavor is pretty predictable - grainy, small hints of spice and that’s pretty much it. Not very exciting, pretty decent I suppose for a pale lager.

Pale yellow with a nice foamy white head. An aroma of dust, hay, weak malt. A thin flavor with notes of sweet malt and hops. Pretty boring lager.

Bottle. Pours clear and light golden, with faint hops and yeast on the nose; similar on the palate, with a sharpish taste. Heavily carbonated, with decent and durable head.

On tap. Pours a clear bubbly straw color with a bubbly white head that showed very good retention and lacing. Smell is very nondescript with hints of pale malts and mild hops. The taste has a slightly hoppier kick to it with a little bitterness in the finish. The pale grains are present in the background throughout. The mouthfeel is very crisp and dry with lots of carbonation. This is actually a decent lager on a sunny summer afternoon.

Peroni is a light looking and tasting lager. It reminds me a lot of Harp with its light taste and limited palate.
