The original Italian lager. Peroni is the number one lager brand in Italy and has been for over one and a half centuries. This premium, clear, golden-yellow lager, with 4.7 ABV, is the result of the dedication to brewing of generations of the most qualified braumeisters.
Brewed using the finest spring barley malts and hops, its taste is slightly bitter. A refreshing smooth lager, Peroni is suitable for all occasions.

16 ounce glass on tap. I made a mistake at a restaurant by ordering a "Peroni" Italian import beer that was nothing fancy at all, just a over carbonated American style lager. ( I could have had a Yuengling!) A very pale straw color. It seemed over carbonated, and definitely over rated.,

Peroni -- you know the drill. Just another macro lager, but with more body. Low aroma rising from a beautiful pour with a white fluffy head. Taste is malty but with some pleasant hop florals. Peroni can usually be found in any US Italian restaurante. Wouldn’t it be nice if a few of those were to seek out some Italian craft beers, or a craft beer paired thoughtfully with the cuisine.

Bottle from Sainsbury’s. Pours pale yellow in colour, single finger white head that goes away quickly. Aroma of not very nice-ness, very skunky. Tasted marginally better, sugary, sweet malts, honey in there too, nice and crisp. OK.

Draft in a bar in Patras, Greece High to very high clarity, light yellow to golden with average to small head, dense looking but dissipating quickly. Aroma is skunky as hell with H20 notes in the background, it’s quite awful actually. Taste is sweet grains, maltodextrine but nothing more. Not much in the aftertaste, just some generic sweetness. Texture is watery, carbonation is soft to medium, body is light. I had so long to taste an awful generic bad tasting lager. I guess bad tasting might be a bit better than non tasting...

Bottle @ Palacio. Boring pale yellow coloured pilsener with a hint of iron. Very meh. Switching to Grolsch in a sec.
