The original Italian lager. Peroni is the number one lager brand in Italy and has been for over one and a half centuries. This premium, clear, golden-yellow lager, with 4.7 ABV, is the result of the dedication to brewing of generations of the most qualified braumeisters.
Brewed using the finest spring barley malts and hops, its taste is slightly bitter. A refreshing smooth lager, Peroni is suitable for all occasions.

16 ounce glass on tap. I made a mistake at a restaurant by ordering a "Peroni" Italian import beer that was nothing fancy at all, just a over carbonated American style lager. ( I could have had a Yuengling!) A very pale straw color. It seemed over carbonated, and definitely over rated.,

UPDATED: APR 22, 2015 Average industrial lager. No aroma or taste and very low bitterness. Foam disappears quickly, no lacing.

Pours like slightly tainted water, with no head, no lacing. Aroma of tap water. Tastes of a bit of malt and larger. If there was another choice I would drink something else. Guess it’s OK sub for water after mowing the lawn. If it didn’t have etoh there would be no point. Also because it’s an import in a green bottle watch for skunked beers.

Horrible beer. Only drinkable if served really cold. Poor aroma and plain watery taste.

On tap at Slice in Atlanta. Pours transparent pale yellow with white head. Aroma of malts, corn and grassy hops. Tastes of water, corn, malts and not much else. Very bland. Not a good beer.

33cl a Bottle at a random Italian restaurant in Amsterdam. Body is clear, pale, head is big, white, creamy, mostly lasting, excellent lacing. Nose is empty, flavor is light malty, watery. Medium sweet, light bitter. Finish is the same. Light body, thin texture, average carbonation. Average boring lager.

Bottle. Taste is wheat, corn, hay, grain and water. Pretty much what you would expect from a pale ale.

400ml from tap in a pizzeria in Firenze - IT. pours a pale yellow color. Absolutely clear. Medium thin bubbled white head. Low retention and few thin lacings left in the glass. Crispy malts and grassy hops in the nose. Standard cheap adjunct Lager. Notes of sweet pale grains. Adjunct malts, cardboard and grassy hops. Very mild hops bitterness. Light metallic notes. Bready and crispy aftertaste. Light body. Medium carbonation. Low drinkability. Standard low quality big production European Lager.

Gangstergafje (91) - Capelle aan den IJssel, NETHERLANDS - MAR 24, 2015
Simpel lager. Not special, not bad. Nicely carbonated. It has a little touch of something more than a simple Heineken, my 0 reference.

Pretty standard fare. Nothing to really distinguish it from other imported beers ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
